honestly, although i am writing an achievement guide for it, the setlist is "blegh". Guitar Hero just ain't what it used to be. But, you get Guitar Hero: Van Halen FREE with purchase. two games for $60

as for Beatles...i absolutely love them, but a game of them and ONLY them? let me know how it is, because i wont be getting Beatles

Yeah I don't get the whole RB: Beatles. If you wanted to play a bunch of their song you might as well just buy them from the PSN store. That's the kind of stuff that should've been available has downloadable content, not an entire game - but that's just my opinion so who cares ;)

I do enjoy RB 1 and 2 though - mostly because of the drum kit. I never even used the guitar it came with.

For me I'll be picking up GH5 as soon as I find it used. Why used? Because then RedOctane receives none of my money. Why don't I want to give them my money? Because they screwed me on replacement instruments when half of mine broke. -_-

If that was directed at me I just wanted to let you know that I am aware that Van Halen comes free with it. However, I am not a big fan of VH therefore RedOctane still does not deserve my money. (Even if I was a fan they wouldn't be getting a dime from me.)

ive never been a big fan of either game, but i am a big fan of the beatles, so I am picking up the deluxe edition of Beatles Rockband, I have it preordered at EB(apparantly I was the only one to preorder it lol)

Got RB Beatles today and I've been playing it. It's an odd departure from the regular old RB. All of yous that are saying it's boring and crap, etc..must not be able to just enjoy a game for what it's made up of..which is the music. Granted, you have to be somewhat of a Beatles fan, but don't judge a book by it's cover. That's like me saying all kinds of bad things about people without even knowing them.

Anyways...the game, like I said, is a tad different graphic-wise. The songs, are well..Beatles songs, and they do plan on releasing every album for the game as far as I've heard. Didn't feel like spending $250 for the set, though I would love the McCartney bass. hell just that alone is going for $150+ on Ebay since the set is the only way you can get it at retail for the time being. Though the Harrison guitar is nice..just don't feel like droppin' $100 on just that. So far I'm diggin' it..and the achievements I think are really conducive to co-op play. I'll give it a solid 8.

Still wanna get GH5 though.

i did buy the limited edition with the mccartney bass, Ive never really played rockband or guitar hero prior to this, and always thought i would never like the game, i am really enjoying it a lot more than i thought i would. also the bass is really cool lol

Yeah its fun, just a little different than I'm use to. I was playing bass, and I had to use expert setting. I havnt tried guitar or drums yet. Well the gamestop I went to was sold out of all bundles, so it looks like people are buying it. I'm big beatles fan, and bI wouldn't recommend to the causal fan of ther work.
