Has ANYONE tried to goldleaf muggs?
i have a project in mind that requires gold, but i dont want to use paint.
anyone have any ideas on if this would be a good idea, or should i just stick to paint?

Gold spray paint has worked well for me...

is the paint actually shiny, or just kinda dull looking?
if i were to try gold spray paint which one should i get to achieve extreme shiny

Depending on which brand you get, certain ones are shiny. I would go for one that says "Metallic" on it somewhere - those are usually shiny. Is it a large area of gold, or just a tiny section? You could also look for a gold paint marker (I think Sharpie makes one). Those are good for detail work.

adding a gloss coat at the end, makes it super shiny. so you wouldn't really even have to worry about the gold paint being shiny. unless ALL you want to be shiny is the gold. then i would find shiny gold paint, and use a matte coating at the end instead.

its a significant amount on the head. ill try the markers, those seem the easiest, and i think they would work the best
