They call him Snake Eyes because he ripped out his own eyes and then ripped an eye out of a cobra and another out of a pit viper and placed them in his sockets. The cobra eye can see evil like a heat register and the pit viper eye can see into the dark future. He doesn't speak because his vocabulary is so filthy it makes even sailors vomit on children as if they were in the center of a hurricane while at sea. For this reason they used to call him the Storm but then the president of his fan club started calling himself Storm's Shadow and Snake Eyes got so tired of the little guy following him around that he changed his name and put on the black disguise. To this day Storm Shadow still searches for the Storm hoping his crush will be reciprocated.

Reasons why you are dead wrong:

I'll take it point-by-point.

1. Hellen Keller was blind and deaf. Snake-Eyes is neither.

2. Actually, he can speak. He chooses not to. Though his vocal cords were severly damaged in the same helicopter crash that scarred his face, he has proven in the comics that he can speak if truly needed.

3. Name one time SS kicked SE's ass. Usually it's a draw or Storm Shadow runs away with his sword between his legs.

4. All the better to kill you with. Also, way easier to hide all the blood stains. Really, how many crisp white suits must Storm Shadow go through in a year? The Cobra tailors must have hated him.

5. Except he's not. Snakes kicks FF around on a regular basis. Anytime FF pokes his head up, trying to be the third sword brother and "fit in" with the 2 Arashikage boys, he always gets put back in place.

6. 'Gaurding Tess' was a way worse Nicolas Cage movie than 'Snake Eyes'. And Snake-Eyes rules over them both.

Other points of fact:

-SE does NOT look like a Power Ranger. Power Rangers look like him.

-Timber isn't a dog. He a goddamned wild Timberwolf, hence his name, who Snake-Eyes tamed himself. Hardcore.

-What kind of ninja carries a gun? The kind that lives in the 21st century and has Army Commando training. The better question is why wouldn't a ninja carry a gun? Stupidity- that's why. Your beloved Firefly (who, remember, is a ninja) carries just as many guns. And don't try that, "real ninjas wouldn't use guns" arguement. Real, like actually real, ninjas used whatever was around at the time to kill people including gunpowder and other explosives, poisens, and whatever else they could get their grubby mitts on.

The cartoon had a totally different continuity, Duke didn't "steal" her, they never dated at all. Lots of things were different in the cartoon. Duke & Falcon were brothers, their guns shot funny red or blue lasers instead of bullets, Cobra Commander was an anciently old scientist from a race of snake-people who lived in the antarctic- all kinds of crazy crap happened that was totally different from the much more realistic and longer lasting continuity of the comics.

people who ride bandwagons are annoying, but i will have to disagree with your assessment of snake eyes. i feel as if the bandwagon nature of him is the main reason why you dislike him so much, not the character himself.

Something that needs to be pointed out again and again, I'm afraid, is that Snake Eyes and Storm Shadow are not enemies. They only fought twice in the entire marvel continuity. The first was prior to Snake Eyes and Storm Shadow knowing who each other was (they had never met in their new "disguises" and second, when Storm Shadow was under Cobra Commander's mind control Brain Wave machine. And in neither of those cases, did they actually "fight".

I would also like to add, that it has been several times that Storm Shadow himself has called Snake Eyes the greatest Ninja in the world. Snake Eyes superior ability over Storm Shadow became apparent way back at the begining of his ninja career, and it is made clear to us in the very same issue that introduces the storyline behind the two of them. In fact.. IT WAS NEVER EVEN CLOSE. Snake Eyes and Storm Shadow.. if they truly had to fight, full force, one on one, it would not be a long battle. And this isn't some fanboy opinion... but the storyline by which both characters were created.

I love Snake Eyes AND Storm Shadow, so I am not taking sides. But if you are a fan of either of them, you shouldn't have to. Of all of the characters created in the G.I. Joe Mythos, there are no two closer friends.

if you really have some sort of issue with ninja.... which i guess its because you dont like snake eyes, then take it up with him personally. i can vouch for him though in saying that he doesnt have multiple accounts. i checked for you. also, i highly highly highly doubt he would ever change his IP address or whatever you said people do.
