TRU sale on Transformers Animated Leader Figures

I was on the TRU site earlier today and I noticed that Ultra Magnus from the TF Animated line was marked as 19.99 when it's usually 39.99.

Apparently there's a sale going on for these figures, there is a sale going on for a lot of other things but this of all of them interested me because I've been collecting the Animated line lately...

anyway, went to the store, shelf labels say 39.99 but I scanned it under a price checker and it came up 19.99.

I saved 20 bucks! Just a heads up for anyone on the cusp about buying some of the Leader figures... and I have to say, the Ultra Magnus Animated fig is very impressive.

I remember you were looking for either a Snarl or Swoop a couple of weeks ago, were you not (I know they're not "Leader," but I didn't want this buried in the Bump thread). I saw both over the weekend at one store. Now, I went to a few Targets, so I don't know if it'll still be there (or which one it was at, lol). Were you still lookin' for it?

I actually found it! :) I have all the Dinobots now :)

I'm still looking for Sunstorm though, if anyone has one they want to sell...

Don't hold your breath. There's a rumble that these might not come out since the series ended a while ago now and they may get shelved which would be a shame since it would be just like the planned G1 Arcee from 20 yers ago. The Arcee is good to see finally if it does come out. The scratch built omega supreme that is on this site somewhere is amazing
There's a zillion Sunstorms in Australia at the moment. No one is buying the animated line because the cartoon isn't on and the movie just came out. This is good news for collectors. The toys will be half price by xmas.

I see your point and I heard these rumblings that they might be canned as well but the date of the news is what has got me excited...

it's pretty darn recent (as of last week) so it's got me hoping we'll see them soon! :)
