Welcome to the 31st century! Matt Groening and David X. Cohen team up with Kidrobot to bring all your favorite Planet Express employees to vinyl. From the cryogenically frozen Fry to the ancient Dr. Zoidberg, 12 iconic characters, including 2 chases, are coming at you blind boxed on August 13. Each 3-inch figure retails for $8.95.

Artist: Matt Groening is the creator and executive producer of THE SIMPSONS and FUTURAMA. He has received multiple Emmys for his work in television. Groening is also creator of the popular comic strip Life in Hell. Groening has won 11 Primetime Emmy Awards, ten for The Simpsons and one for Futurama as well as a British Comedy Award for "outstanding contribution to comedy" in 2004. In 2002, he won the National Cartoonist Society Reuben Award for his work on Life in Hell.

David X. Cohen is the executive producer of FUTURAMA. Cohen previously spent five years as a writer for The Simpsons, and holds a Masters degree in Theoretical Computer Science from U.C. Berkeley, as well as a Bachelors degree in Physics from Harvard University, where he served as President of the Harvard Lampoon humor magazine. He has received three Emmy Awards, two Annie Awards, and zero Nobel Prizes for his work.

lol, only reason i've resisted buying more than a few of the simpsons ones so far is because there's only one store that's not even too close to here that has them, and the last few times i've been in i've bought Mindstyle's Scavengers series blindboxes instead, heh (last time i went, i managed to get the two figures i needed to finish my set :D )

Definitely very cool... I hope the ratio's aren't impossible... those 1/96 simpson figures are impossible to get even if you buy a whole case...

^Missing Robot Devil and Slurms for a second set. The first case I bought was crap -- no chases or Robot Devil, just an extra Morbo. The second case was awesome -- Robot Devil, Slurms, and Sal all in the same case.

Anyone have Zoiberg, Sal, Slurm, or somehow a Devil Robot to trade? Only extra from the futurama set I have is Mom, also have Apu, Chief Wiggum, and Homer from the simpsons series if anyone's looking for those. Or muggs, lol

Just saw these in another thread and googled it to find out where to get them. Too bad I just decided I've spent too much money recently. These guys are cool (and some are going for cheap on ebay). Is there a trade thread for them or is this it?

I think there's a few sale/trade threads about them... you probably just have to do a search.. Yeah, its near impossible to get the rare ones.. and, since futurama is on, its only going to get more popular...
