Interesting. Not quite for me but I like the styling of the Green Lantern & Firestorm
ones. Somehow, I picture some viking-clad, opera singer shaped like this (with the
horned helmet, sword raised, mouth open, belting some ear-shattering pitch) when
they say, "when the fat lady sings..."

No offense to vikings, plus-sized people, women, nor opera singers.

Also, I like 'em. I've been collecting Mighty Muggs since they were first announced and not many people were interested in them at announcement either except the hardcore vinyl crowd.
If they're the right size and they do at least five characters I want I'll get at least five. They're like those weird square ninja turtles that are coming that are only four inch and are ten bucks more then muggs. I'll get those too because they look aces.

And these just in the last few years that I can remember. Everyone knew DC was bringing Superman back, it was announced before they even did it. Marvel kills people willy nilly all the time then brings them back in nonsense storylines en masse. Reed Richards is the Skrulls most hated enemy but when he is completely at their mercy they just torture him instead of killing the heckers out of him to ensure he doesn't defeat them yet again (which he does.) Yawn!:sleep:
Lets hope the Silver Surfer stays dead. Not many problems you can't solve when you have the power cosmic. :D

Firstly if you're not reading GL or Booster Gold, then you can't be making a very informed opinion of DC...

But I'm sorry to say that there are going to be a hell of alot of characters coming back to DC this summer in Blackest Night.

Here's the thing, why are people hung up on characters coming back? Batman and Supes are modern legends like James Bond or Jason. There will always be stories about them for the rest of time and every once in a while there will be reboots and deaths and inevitable resurrections. The issues that matter to me are whether or not these stories are good!

Bringing back Bucky in Cap seemed disgusting to me until I read Brubaker's story. When Geoff Johns brought back Hal Jordan it wasn't just good, it was the best story that Green Lantern is likely to ever see.

batman's death kinda sucked IMO, but given how good Cap has been for over fifty issues... I'm ready to have Steve Rogers back! :dance:

And finally, there's no point in arguing about the motives of killing characters. We all know it's for money. But check it out: all comics are made to make money! It's an industry like movies, so why don't we all just like the good ones and enjoy'em?
