Anyone played the new game yet? Just bought it today at work and am waiting patiently to bust it out later tonight!! anyone care to offer some feedback to build the suspense??? :)

im gunna give it a shot. the screen shots look stellar and ive read some pretty decent reviews which all say great game play, but controls are tough at first.

whatd you think of the movie?? it took a bashing thou from critics. but i loved it. they claim it lacked a plot, but what do you want from a summer flick with robots that essentailly beat eachother up.

I have to agree with the critics on this one. Was a little dissappointed with the storyline felt like it was hashed together and whilst the SFX were once again amazing i felt for the time spent in the chair i was short changed.

I enjoy it. pretty good. controls are a little rough in the beginig but easy to get used to. kinda bumbed that youre always a robot and have to hold town the trigger the entire time you want to be a vehicle.
one thing i thought was awesome is you can earn and watch full length episodes of the orignial cartoons throughout the game. personally, my "expert" ;) opinion. i give it a 7.75 out of 10.

but to answer your question. if you got the time, i would rent it and beat it. its not realy one of the games in my opinion where you can go back and just run around like "GTA". however it does allow you to play as the autobots or decepticons and run through the story twice with different missions both times which is cool.

I just got it for PS2 and it is horrible compared to the fist movie game.

I have the first movie game on wii and I hate it...I was thinking about picking this up for 360 based on reviews...but I am thinking it would be best to wait until it went to the bargain bin...?
