You SO deserve a puppy! :)

In regards to names, I always choose weird, somewhat random names for mine, like Chunkerbunn and Newt LOL I say wait to see what his/her personality is like, and a name will for sure pop into your head :D

Btw, what do you Cats think of this? LOL

Yeah, some woman I know at work has a Puggle. They have a unique look to them, being that they are half Pug/Beagle.

Very friendly dogs.

Oh Yay, I was just about to post on here saying you should pick Miles as the name and I see that you have done so. Good choice. :)

Be sure to post pics of the puppy when you do pick up Miles Alexander. :)

You definitely deserve a puppy.

You should call the local Humane Society and leave a note with them that you're interested if they get a pug or pug mix in. That way you'd be saving a life and getting a new family member. :) {Plus it would only cost like $75 that way.}

Or, you could even just go in and look at all of the puppies and see if Miles Alexander jumps out at you from the little guys that are already there. You never know who you'll find at the Humane Society. Every time I'm there I want to take all of them home with me. :D

going there breaks my heart! i was actually on a list a few years ago, but i never go a call. my local humane society puts animals to sleep, and it makes me so sad. they have a sign on the door where they put them to sleep. it says something about how its not their fault that they have to pass this door and its not their fault that they were not loved... ugh, it makes my feel sick. if it were up to me i would rescue every animal in the world!

OMG that is so sad. :( I would have a hard time going there too.

My local shelter is a "No Kill" {actually low-kill, but because of their low percentage they can say they are no-kill} shelter, so I do everything I can to support them.

Anyway, this thread is supposed to be happy. YAY PUPPIES. {and sorry about your Humane Society experiences}

its still a good idea to rescue a doggy though! they all need homes right? i always adopt the older cats because most people only want kittens. i feel bad for the old ones...
i like old animals :)

I always adopt the older kitties too. I have allergies though, so I can only really handle one permanent kitty at a time.

I foster the bottle-feeding kittens that aren't old enough to be adopted out yet. They are so super cute, but it's so sad that someone abandonned them there before they were even old enough to be away from their mommies. :(

Two of the babies I fostered were found in the junk yard and were covered in motor oil. :( I had to bathe them like 10 times to get them clean. They were so cute, though. They both got adopted within a month of me taking them back to the shelter. :)

i have a cat that i "rescued" when i was like 8 or 9. When i found him you could see his ribs and all that nonsense and well now hes about 30 lbs lol. had another cat that i found in about the same conditions a year or so previous to the fat one. well she was mean to near about every1 except me. When i was about 12 or 13 my uncle found a border collie that was also starved and gave him to me. I think thats all the pets ive rescued. Ive had plenty that i bought or w/e.
