There is a long thread about these in the Action Figure forum

There's marvelous news, they have pics of loose and carded figures of up to wave 5.

Hasbrotoyshop.com has a good bunch in stock. I find a lot of mine at Target, but wally world and TRU carries them too. Kmart is where I find rarer ones cause I guess no one shops there lol.

As for Variants there's the Dark blue suit Johnny Storm and Darker colored spiderman. The grey hulk, bullseye, transluscent torch, capt america and darevevil are ones I'd pick up right away along with the ms. Marvels, those are the hardest for me to find, not too sure about elsewhere though. And there's 2 exclusives for this line at SDCC, a grey scale capt and an invaders set of 4 figures.

That's about it I guess lol hope this helped.

Yeah, saves you time and gas. The retail for about $7.99 or more anyway. Then add tax so it is like paying retail price and having them delivered to your door

That case brings a lot of cool ones, I dunno what you're looking for, but if its for a cool bunch of figs then do it. I would personally get the wave 1 case just cause they're older and well be harder to find and brings bullseye (hardest one to get I think) but whatever tickles your pickle man. Lol

as far as I've seen no one counts the origins figures. just sayin ;) They plain don't count. just the main Marvel Universe line I think, unless you really dig XMEN. :typing:

thanks flash for the quick reply.....i dont like most of the origin figures but i seen a classic magneto today and he looked pretty good. but i think i will stick with the main line for the most part also whats your take on the dark spideys? do people have trouble with them? i cant seem to find the light 1

dark spidey is the second production run or revision... I personally don't think it'll be rare, and I probably won't pick it up.. the light one is still around here a bit from time to time but he'll probably go out faster now that the second run has been released, until I see something in print that says he's a variant, no pick up from me.

the alternate Johnny Storm with dark blue and white gloves, that's for sure a variant. probably a 50:50 ratio though, so again, probably not going to be too rare, the "flame on!" version of Torch is supposed to be somewhat rare now though, so scoop that up if you see one.

I like some of the Origins figures as well but I think I'll collect the main line first and then maybe some of the others later on, looks like most of the Xmen stuff will appear in that line anyway considering we got one Wolverine in the main line and he's the black and grey version, not the blue and yellow... hm...

also, Grey Hulk, if you see him, GET HIM. lots of people are having trouble finding this one.

I doubt darker spidey will be rare either there is a gajillion of them over here and all of them have horrid paint jobs. I have only seen dark torch w/ white gloves once and picked him, but I don't want him, he's lame lol

But as flash said, pick up flame on torch and grey hulk if you spot them, also look out for daredevil, bullseye, capt, mod ms.marvel and red hulk those seem the toughest to find.

the rare ones are pretty much stealth iron man, fire human torch, and grey hulk. Entertainmentearth.com has a lot of the waves for a decent price and if u get their catalog mailed to you, you can get free shipping on all order 49.99 and up
