I didn't buy from Big Easy Comics but I traded with muggcrazy, that counts right? Well my muggs came in AMAZING condition and was very easy to deal with, so I give them a thumbs up and also their prices aren't high.

laz69frog placed 5 pre-orders and canceled ALL of them. That policy had to be put in place because of customers that commit to ordering products and habitually canceling their orders. Additional products are ordered specifically for the customers that place pre-orders. Let me clarify though, this was not a penalty, it was a deposit that was charged as soon as he placed his order. It is unfortunate that we had to institute this policy but customers are required to acknowledge and agree to it prior to placing an order for pre-order products. The policy only applies to pre-orders where the products total is over $25.

Most of our customers have no issue with the policy frankly because they intend to honor their agreements.

Certainly every once in a while people have issues and must cancel an order and if they have a legitimate reason we are more than happy to discuss that with them.

Thanks!

In these tough economic times, we try to make and save money anyway we can. Every dollar counts, so paying 7 dollars for nada sucks.

I don't have any problem with a criticism if it's warranted but in this case it is not. There was quite a bit left out of this story. First, as previously mentioned, he's placed pre-orders 5 times and canceled 5 times. Second, he placed his last pre-order when the 15% deposit policy was in place and agreed to it. For everyone's edification, you can't complete checkout for pre-orders without doing so. Third, if he hadn't canceled his order immediately after being charged the deposit he would be out nothing. I was a bit perplexed because he was upset that he was charged the deposit that he clicked and agreed to be charged. That was his decision. Now I have 7 dollars and $200+ in products from the 5 canceled orders that he agreed to purchase sitting on a shelf collecting dust. That sucks.

I don't think he's a bad guy, but he and a few other people out there place and cancel orders regularly because someone else got this or that first, etc., without regard for the agreements they've made with or effect they have on businesses and their other customers.

In these tough economic times many other stores may have to start charging deposits or penalties on canceled pre-orders to cover the losses incurred by habitual cancelers.

That all said the customers are allways right, or so its said. I just took my buisness elsewhere. A place where cancelling preorders is not such a major undertaking. I just wanna buy my muggs at the lowest prices possible, and sometimes that means cancelling pre orders.

You're lucky he let you cancel the pre order at all. A lot of stores will not let you cancel a pre order once it's made. Most stores order "extra" in addition to whatever they're getting specifically for the pre order. So if you cancel it, they're stuck with the goods. The customer is not always right. There is such a thing as abusing the system. And in this case, the minute you canceled the order you were no longer the customer. I applaud Muggcrazy for sticking to his guns about his policy. I'll make sure to order from you in the future.

As for Laz69Frog, if you're always looking for the cheapest price, why not pre order until you've exhausted all your resources? That way you're doing the seller a favor by not having to flip flop on pre orders, and doing yourself a favor by not having to go through this hassle.

Just my two cents.

i got my order from them last week. i was extremely pleased with them. the packing job they did for shipping was above what i had expected, and honestly better than any other packing job i have seen (out of all the other places i have ordered muggs online). i'd shop there again in a heartbeat.
