GOD I HATE UPS. I JUST WAS DELIVERED MY CUSTOMS FROM JTMUGGS AND IT COST ME $120 IN BROKERAGE FEES. What the hell are brokerage fees anyways? Im sure as hell customs isnt charging me that much. I mean for gods sake, why would they charge me $120 for something they do as well if not more poorly than regular USPS or Canada Post. DAMMIT. I freaking spent more on brokerage fees than any of the muggs received. God damn ridiculous.

Damn, didn't realize how old that article was. But still, sounds like it pisses a LOT of people off.

Talking with JT Muggs now. I got Venom, Carnage, and Sagat added to my collection! Kind of helps the pain but still. Going to have to hold off on signing up for a Jeta/Fuller custom till next week now.

If UPS was a person, Id take his mother out for a nice seafood dinner and never call her back.

Knowing it is UPS and a lot of the people that work in the hub here, you are lucky they weren't smashed up, too. I only ship USPS priority. Do not trust UPS at all. No sir.

You don't want to use FedEx either. They've started doing the same crap, although not to the same degree.

i sent some muggs to the UK and they made the guy pay some sort of custom fee when they got there.

why cant we pay for the shipping then forget about it? there shouldnt be anymore costs involved for anyone after the package was sent.

I *always* claim the value of whatever I ship across sees to be next to nothing because people are going to get raped on customs. It is just one of those things. Especially the poor 4 of Western Europe and South America. That's if their officials don't take it right off the bat and never even get it to who you ship to. Word of advice: Avoid Italy. And South America.

Yeah, can't you also delcare that it is a gift as well? I don't think they get charged anything in that case.

I always send USPS and declare the value at next to nothing and mark them as a "gift"

Gifts still get charged customs fees in most countries, i.e., all of them that I know of other than Canada, I think.
