So I spotted a Han Solo on eBay at a pretty good price. But past experience has taught me to inquire about the condition of the mugg before buying. I contacted the seller and asked about the condition of the box; whether it had any dings or dents, scratches or creases. Here was his reply:
I'm sorry, I just don't deal with people who are concerned about the shapes of packages. I'm not being rude I just don't have time for that kind of collector. If your looking for a super mint package you will have to look elsewhere. sorry. Have a great day!
For not being rude, this seemed awfully rude.

For those curious, the item was:
http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=260396231911
Based on the picture it seems the box is in decent shape but there looks like remains of a price sticker on the upper right corner. Tack on his email and it makes me wanna pass. It's too bad though cuz I need Solo and this is a damn good price.

you should buy it and leave negative feedback after you get it for being rude.

You should post the ebay username so we can all send him the same question. That would be funny. :P
J/K. No need to stoop to his level.
**EDIT** Wow, three posts showed up in the time it took me to type three sentences! Good work, everyone! :)

and he really didn't need to be rude, all he had to say was "it's in good condition, there's some sticker stuff on it and that's it."
that's all he had to say!

saying that "i dont deal with people..." comes off rude, despite stating that they dont want to be rude.
let me give an example response:
"Thanks for inquiring about my item! The box is not perfect, but only has a few blemishes such as a small ding on on the back left corner, but otherwise in a very displayable condition for any collector. however, as stated the figure has been opened but displayed in an adult home and strapped back in properly. thanks for interest!
wow, that wasnt hard at all

Exactly. He had time to write his little rant but didn't have time to answer a simple question

It's a good thing you asked before buying.. I would never want to deal with sellers who have an attitude like that.. only bad things come from it...

lol, probably. But yea this guy sounds rude. I hate it when sellers judge their customers. When your selling something, does it matter?

"That kind of collector." Yeah, rude. I get that not everyone cares about the condition of boxes, but ya gotta respect customers...even on the internets.
Haha, I'm loving the comments/ideas in this thread though. :p

Anyone notice his screen name? "Vegeta?" Maybe that's why he's "rude" because he's the prince of all sayins...sayan..
I don't know how it's spelled.
