"Another great trailer for you guys! This of course comes courtesy of Capcom in honor of Tokyo Game Show and it's quite epic. It gives us a little insight on how the plot is going to develop in Resident Evil 5 around Chris Redfield. But that's not all, there are plenty of other shotgun toting favorites, old and new, that make an appearance.

Resident Evil 5 will be hitting PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 on March 13th, 2009. Yes, that's a Friday."

The demo was great. I downloaded it when it was on the Japanese market place. It's good but it's hard to get use to the 360 controls.

The demo is now available via xbox live and all I gotta say is...

HOLLLYYYYY CRAAAPPPPP!

This game is awesome! You can even play online co-op in the demo itself and it's AWESOME!

I was a little disappointed because resident evil 4 is in my top 3 favorite games ever. I agree that it did feel a little sluggish. The graphics are sick. I actually don't like having another person with me in the game because it just takes away from the intensity of being there alone. Will still be a day 1 purchase though.

Damn i just got done with the demo and it is friggin fun as hell... is there a quick way to reload?

I havent played a resident evil game since the original one so i cant really say if its sluggish or anything but the controls and not being able to walk and shoot is going to take a little getting used to

The game is ok ive been a RE fan for a long time and im kinda disappointed. the one thing i hate the most is stopping to shot. i understand that they want to make it more intense but the way the game is setup and the graphics it just looks wrong. I still like RE4 better

I loved RE4 and the REmake for Gamecube. But after the few years that have past the controls feel a bit dated and broken. Not sure how I feel about them anymore. The ability of not being able to move and shoot really affect my opinion of the game.

Eh... Stopping and shooting doesn't bother me. Adds more realism to the game. Has anyone ever tried to even walk and fire a gun accurately? Its hard as hell, much less trying to run and dodge people trying to kill you.

I have it for PS3. its awesome but its more action then horror now.. other then that it pretty good

thats what makes me sad about Resident Evil :(.
i like a game where i get scared (Condemned 1 + 2). but i dont mind a good action game of course, but RE used to be the standard in "horror" survival.

Do you have a favorite Resident Evil game? Mines Resident Evil 2.

This one is good on action, lacking in scares... especially after playing Dead Space. I nearly crapped myself more than once playing that one.

I never played the remake for Gamecube but from what I've seen, it looks like one of the best in the series.

^It is, if you want scary, that's the one to play, its even fun to watch somebody else play because its suspenseful like a actual horror movie!

Yeah, Dead Space looks very scary. GameFly is sending me a copy and I'm a bit intimidated for it's arrival lol.

Dead Space is pretty spooky, I never played it but I have watched my roommate play through it entirely and its pretty awesome!

I'm sure it is. I'm going to try to rent RE5 and might buy the gamecube remake for my Nintendo Wii. And as always, I'll play nght with the lights off for maximum spookyness.

I just got RE5 and I've already beat it five times. Its pretty short though. Once I beat it in 3 hours. Pro mode is hard as hell. And I have the infinite Rocket Launcher.
One thing that disappointed me though was the fact that Mercenaries only has four characters(Chris Sheva Jill Wesker), and the rest o them are just costumes. (Sheva Tribal, Chris STARS, Jill Battlesuit).
