How did you get hooked on these strange, cool, unique and "cute" toys called Mighty Muggs?

I was walking down the toy isle and saw the muggs. I thought they were very cool and unique looking.

I first saw them at Urban Outfitters. They had the first Star Wars wave. I called one of my gfs (that also collected toys) and she said don't buy em there... to go to Target because they were only $10. So I got a Boba Fett and Darth Vader. They were just to cute to not have. I loved that for a vinyl toy that size, it was relatively cheap. As more and more muggs came onto the scene, I fell more and more in love with them. :)

i was at target, looking at star wars toys. and i just saw a darth vader sitting there... they had a few other muggs too, but darth vader caught my eye. he was so cute! i just had to give him a home!

yea my first day working my manager sent me to fix up the action figure asile. So I start and what do I see?! Iron Man and Captain America Hulk I was just like wow cool. Thought of maybe picking them up but then someone bought Iron Man and I never saw him again. Then I saw Spiderman and WOW never stopped after that lol.

I was surfing the web checking out the SDCC 2008 pics and exclusives. I had to see what it was like since I wasnt able to go since the company I worked for sent a retail team. Then I happen to notice while surfing that hasbro had a bunch of exclusives. I decided to check out what they were just for fun. And there they both were....Peter Parker and Iron Man Muggs. And that moment on I knew I was hooked. Infact, I was so hooked I ordered a Peter Parker a couple of hours later. I figured if I was gonna start might as well be an exclusive.

i was hooked when i didnt notice there was a hook on the alley..i walked in and it got me hooked i couldnt get out..no seriously

i really like to have a designer's toys as part of my collection but most of them are too weird looking.. not my taste since i collect marvel and dc action figures... then hasbro came with this idea, they were cute..i fell in loved with wolverine he is soooo cute.. yellow is not my fave color but it look good on wolverine.. then i saw sdcc ironman..i went nuts.. it was sooooo shiny.. so i wasted no time.. i got me self that sdcc ironman.. that was my first mugg..

Well, I went to Wal Mart with some friends, just to kill some time while we waited to see The Clone Wars at the movies (kinda geek friday), one of them collects die-cast cars so we went straight to the toy section (ok... it was a GEEK friday) , while he was looking for some cars he wanted I walked around the other toys and saw a Boba Fett, but with a quite unique shape, not to mention the package, and I quickly picked him and said "I know what I'm gonna buy today", I carried a considerable amount of money in my wallet so I went like "what the hell, let's buy it".

After that... I became addicted, they're just too cool to resist them <_<
