I just recently started watching The 4400 series from the sci-fi channel. I'm getting the whole series sent to me disk by disk from Netflix. Any of you watch it?
I think it is the best sci-fi I have seen since the X-files and its reminds me of the X-files to a point. Except The 4400 takes it a few steps further.

i am not really into sci-fi movies like this. i have watched one episode of the 4400 series and i think that it is nice. but it is not just my kind of thing.:D

I have watched the entire 4400 series and though it was just mind blowing. Sad that we don't have more high caliber entertainment like this on TV. We could do with a lot more of this and a lot less of reality TV.

What is the premise behind this Series? I got into Lost last year and I love it now. I might get into this if its interesting enough

I watched the first season, its about 4440 people who were abducted at different points in time and then dropped into modern days with special powers. Pretty decent show.

This show was pretty awesome. I didn't get into it until a few episodes into last years season, thanks in large part to my brother having all of the other seasons on DVD. I'm glad I went into marathon mode and caught up with last season in a hurry.

Its really sad that this was canceled by USA, such a good show. But I guess that's what happens when few people watch a show....sad ;(

Ah, so it's a canceled show as well? Should be hard to pick up the DVD's then correct?

Not too sure. I know the most recent season is still readily available, but I haven't looked for the others.

Its easy to find through Netflix which is where I get all my movies from. I have disks one through three of the third season coming in tomorrow. Can't wait. And this series was done by Sci-Fi, not USA.

As far as renting, yeah they are probably easily found on NetFlix or other renting sites/stores. But if you really like it and are interested in buying, thats another story in itself. And as for the show itself, the series was done on USA. Here's a link to the site, even though the show is dead.
