Say what you guys like but this guy has got mad skill. I haven't had any encounters with him myself but from an onlooker's POV, hes definitely doing the out of the ordinary. The detailing and style of the face is freakin awesome.

The guy does have talent, there is no denying that. But seriously, best in the business?!?! Haha what a joke. Art is subjective. No artist can be "the best". This guy is clearly in denial.

yea, hes definitly creative, the earthworm jim mugg is the shit, that one was my favorite. I just dont like the bullshit he pumps out in his description. the ego is the problem. the work is great.

to me the face and the hat look good. The jacket is horrendous, it looks like slate rock on his chest and doesnt look right with this one.

This came out very good, and is more a piece of art than a Mugg. But for $200 is art really worth it?

oh, i was wondering what he was holding at first... but then i noticed that it was his opening his coat. i thought he was holding two small garbage cans or something. whoops. i like the paint job ALOT, but i guess im not so sure of the whole open coat thing. i think it would have perhaps looked better with just a painted on coat, not a sculpted one.

Ok, I do agree the "best in the business" and "beware of immitators" comment is kind of a lame. Pretentiousness has never been big with me. And it does feel a bit like he's downplaying other customizers, but I I don't think he's meaning any harm by it and I really wouldn't worry about it anyway. He is a great artist and so are ALOT of the customizers I have been seeing. But when it comes down to it, the one thing I have noticed is that it's all about what people want. He did a great job on Mr. Kent, but I would never want it just because I don't really care about the subject matter. However his Hannibal one was way bad ass, because, it's Hannibal. Was it better? Well it depends on what you're a bigger fan of. In the end when you're selling your customs it all comes down to what people want. It's all case by case. This "business" is all a gamble. And as far as all this drama that I keep seeing on this forum site; if you're being a douchebag and have to talk trash on other customs, well then there you have it, you're just a douchbag. And now you know it. Just be cool. People will like you better. Trust me. And to everyone else that feels like they're the victim; stop it. Why do you really care what they think anyway? If someone else out there likes you enough to buy your Mugg, then thats all that matters. You can either stress about a bunch of nonsense or continue doing what got you here in the first place. So just have fun. Be creative. Make an epic Mugg. And smile.

Its one thing to critizice artwork, but its a different situation for the artist to single out people and harass them. and Yes, he has done this...a lot.

Yeah, was meaning say something about his description, I've talked with him a couple times no problem but do feel he has a "complex" saying the things he says in his listing are overboard. Just do you, don't worry about us.
I agree its art its up to the beholder, his prices are high but more power to him to help the market raise in value and gotta admit his work is top shelf.

"I am the best in the business and will never quit doing what I love. Beware of imitators!" He can claim all he wants... who cares... but yea I don't like the whole "beware of imitators" thing. Pfft on $200 for a mugg. Thats like 10 Venoms... haha!
