Hello all. I'm new here and hadn't had a reason to post yet until today. I finished my first non-Sports Mighty Mugg last night so I have something to show off to you.
I've been customizing and selling my customs consistently for the last 8 years. I primarily make custom NFL Sportspicks and lego minifigs and if you've ever search eBay for custom figures, I'm sure you've come across my work before.
My making more Mighty Muggs will greatly depend on the reception I get from this one. I customize so many different items that spreading out into Mighty Muggs will depend greatly on how well the first few do in terms of sales and positive comments. I don't want to sound like money is the main interest here because I love branching out into different areas, but customizing is my only source of my income, so unfortunetly how I spend my time is a factor.
I've got a list of about 12 characters that I've never seen made into Mighty Muggs that I would love to make, so I hope that you all like my work and I can continue to make more Mighty Muggs.
Thanks,
Jeff

Thanks for the positive responce. I didn't keep really good track on how many actual hours it took, but if I had to guess I'd say about 8-10 hours of actual work time. I'm hoping that future ones will go faster (I'm sure they will) but with all the netting, blending on the head, dry brushing the armor, ect. more work went into this one then say, a Batman custom would take that's primarily one color.
If I don't really get any offers, I'll list him on eBay at 99 cents, so if no one else likes him, you'd have a shot to get him cheap :)

I assume you mean the 7th photo ? That's just photoshop tricks (also assuming you're not being sarcastic) .....but I'm hoping that sometime soon Hasbro will release a clear character, maybe a Star Wars spirit or hologram that the paint can be stripped away to open up a few more options for customs.

Haha! He's too awesome for anyone to NOT like him. :) I have no chance. I'll just save the pic and look at it from time to time. LOL! 8 hrs is not that bad I think. He has really good details and its probably best you didn't rush things. ;)

I was actually making a joke with the cloaking device, but oh well. Nice none the less! Good job.

Okay, wasn't sure if you were being serious or sarcastic (joking).
I've honestly been asked some really head scratching questions on auctions and message boards about customs and some people are serious.
Thanks for the compliments

Here's a few of the interesting "duh" questions I've been asked over the years that stand out still.
I made a Rod Smith Denver Broncos WR figure where he is diving for the end zone. In some of the photos I was able to hide the metal rod that connected him to the base so it appeared he was "flying".
The women asked me if I would include the fishing wire with the custom. I was stumpted so I asked what she meant. She believed that she would have to suspend the figure from her ceiling using clear fishing line.
______
Can this really fly ? (asking about a Magneto figure)
______
How tall is this 12 inch Star Wars figure ? (I actually get these sort of questions all the time despite clearly stating in the auction the height/scale.)
______
Another example: A guy asked me if he bought the figure (a Movie Maniacs style Hannibal Lector), made a mold of it to sell copies, and returned it if I'd give him a full refund plus pay for the return shipping.

I disagree, this Mugg is by far the better of the 3 Mighty Muggs...The others are nicley painted but they dont resemble a mighty mugg at all. This looks like a mighty mugg and is very clean.

i still love this custom to this day, and i think presentation (photoshop stuff) adds to it. toyboy and jeta made great ones, i think they all great from what i remember.
