Seein' as how movies are worked on almost until the very last minute before they're shown in theaters nowadays, I would hardly think it's a finished version. Why anyone would want to see that is beyond me.

Let's get the official word here before people start comtemplating "quality" and such........

http://www.slashfilm.com/2009/03/31/x-men-origins-wolverine-workprint-leaked-online/

According to the article, the quality for a WORKPRINT is off the charts - it is near DVD quality, no black and white scenes, no counters, no "property of fox" business.... there ARE some CGI scenes that are unfinished and you can see cables (some people say "strings") supporting the actors in some scenes. That being said, someone's or some people's heads will roll for this leak, no doubt. With a $158M production budget and being one of the year's biggest blockbusters......... this isn't a good thing for Marvel or Fox!

(please note that I don't condone or approve of the illegal downloading of movies or music via torrent, I'm going by what the article says - I will be seeing this movie in IMAX and buying it on Blu-Ray when it is available, as I do for all MARVEL releases)

I'll wait till it hits the $5 bin at Wal-Mart.

Just a little FYI. MOD should have edited the one post of where to see the movie. Some Fox employee see's that, site will be down for good.

Looks like they are making there rounds already.

Why should mods remove it from here? There are TONS of sites like that leaking this to well over 30,000 people TODAY alone, the more sites like that shut down as a result, the better. On the other hand, I don't think FOX employees are starting their rounds with this forum in an attempt to track leads with the FBI...... :D

Just my opinion but wolverine is my favorite marvel character and I had high hopes for this film. I saw it last night. The quality is amazing. You do see the cables and harnesses holding the actors and some of the cg effects are the raw rough outline for the scene but that's actually what I liked about it. It's kind of a behind the scenes look of the movie. But frankly, I thought the movie was horrible. Leiv schreiber was the best part of it by far. The leaked version is only missing 15 minutes of footage according to imdb's runtime. But there's nothing they could do in those 15 minutes to save that film. Needless to say I was very disappointed with it and I'm sure it will get many bad reviews when the theatrical version is out.

How can that be, Leiv is being humiliated industry wide for being "too small" and "not aggressive enough," I hardly doubt little Leiv is going to pull that movie through with his witty remarks in the previews (Sabertooth wasn't the smartest apple in Magneto's tree). Also, IMDB's total runtime is not always accurate, so take it for what it's worth......

there have been suggestions by FOX stating there is missing footage apart from the CGI, especially surrounding Deadpool's character, but they might just be saying it because they might go BACK into production and throw in extra work in this last month to cover their ass for the theatrical release next month! I mean, if you just had 30,000 people watch the biggest release for your studio this year, you'd say ANYTHING to get people back in the theater next month!

And Helo, like Flastest said - quiet you! :D

WHAT IN THE BURNING FIRES OF THE DEEPEST, DARKEST PITS OF HELL WERE YOU THINKING?!?!

This movie could have been somewhat decent.. but then they had to go and totally BUTCHER a certain someone, who of ALL characters, should NOT HAVE BEEN BUTCHERED!!!

I had hope for Marvel movies again.. X-Men Origins: Wolverine just crushed it. Aaaaand, my rant is over.

Anyone remember that scene in Pulp Fiction where Ving Rhames gets raped?
That pretty much sums up Fox's treatment of DeadPool in this movie.
The movie itself though was better than I expected ;)

just finished it, if youre planning on watching this movie for deadpool save yourself $10 and use it on another mugg. From strictly a movie standpoint, its entertaining and a nice but forgettable action flick. From a comic fanboy standpoint, its almost as absurd as spiderman 3 was. They simply bastardized wolverine and the x-men franchise as a whole.

Well, thats fine. Its a wolverine movie, screw deadpool. Who cares if he didnt have the spotlight like everyone wanted. Im more concerned about the actual plot and how true it stays to the happenings in xmen 1. Does it completely contradict x1?

This wasn't a marvel studios movie....fox still owns the rights to xmen movies and they are the ones that keep butchering the franchise...if marvel studios can get the rights back at some point it would be awesome for them to reboot it and do it right.

So from what I'm seeing, the fans are calling this movie crap. Really that bad? Cause if its Deadpool your all mad about I could care less. In with the new I say! Like the Transformers movie and everything about the G1 fans wanting to kill Micheal Bay (kidding). But I can tell they didn't have a huge budget for this movie. Still gonna wait til the actual theater release.

For me, the movie is alright. You're right about Deadpool, it's not his movie. I know I've seen the unfinished version but I'm pretty sure the theater will be more polished and better edited. I love Wolverine and will still see it again how it's meant to be seen.

And Kudos for the people who kept the intro very close to the Wolverine: Origins novel.

It's not even just the fact that they got Deadpool all wrong. It doesn't change the fact that he's god damn ridiculous, which in turn, made the entire movie ridiculous. And did anybody notice how fast Wolverine defeats him? He's supposed to be like this unstoppable force and then BAM! He's down for the count. RI-diculous.

^ what they should have done with deadpool, is drag him behind a dumpster and shoot him. Anything they did to him is too good for him anyway. Everyone should stop complaining about deadpool not being completely glorified and just thank the producers that they actually did put him in the movie.
