These thing are called "Oddpods". Here's what it says on ToyNewsI:

"OddPods are the new stylized variation of the highly successful Halo figures, with special appeal for the vast "urban" figure collector market. OddPods have interchangeable heads, torsos and arms for countless customization possibilities. The first series includes four fan-favorite Halo characters with weapons.

* MASTER CHIEF with Assault Rifle
* BRUTE CHIEFTAIN with Gravity Hammer
* SPARTAN EVA (red) with Assault Rifle
* SPARTAN EOD (steel) with Assault Rifle

Look for the first series of OddPods to reach stores in May."

They look way too much like Muggs to me, but having the arms and legs pop off is kinda unique.

Arnt muggs knock off any Japanese Urban Vinyl figures? Munny's dunny's Kidrobot, etc.

yep, Muggs may have been first to you but, they surely aren't the first of these kind out of the gate!

and! Muggs aren't even vinyl, they never were. The heads are RUBBER. If you've ever held a Munny/Dunny/whatever you know what a real vinyl figure feels like and Muggs are certainly NOT vinyl.

yea, I realize theyre not vinyl (MM), They are sh*t plastic/rubber, el cheapo quality with half the time garbage paint apps.

Dont get me wrong, they are cool. but the arnt anything compared to the japanese stuff. The pain apps are Great on anything over there, even if its a 1 inch QEE.

Hmmm I would thinks since they are Mcfarlane toys they would look better or be better detailed...guess not

I don't know bout anyone else...But i'm a mugg man to the end. The have a great shape, look, and they're great to customize. Other figures be damned!!!

It's an odd shape and the paint job ... well, it looks like a good Custom Mugg, but not a factory Mugg, if you get my meaning. McFarlane Toys ARE usually very good. Still, all in all they're not too bad. Not a big Halo fan, if I saw one in a character I like perhaps it would look better to me.

im on the fence about these...there cool but generic all at the same time. anytime i see something "new" in stores im a sucker for it, so ill probably end up buying one.

These aren't even cute. The lack of roundness in the head area makes them quite ugly.
