View Full Version : My very first custom! Yay!

It was a labor of love. Be that as it may, be brutally honest. I appreciate the criticism. I want my next custom to be better than the last. I havent finished with the final touches on the hands, haven't gotten the material for the cloth that hangs, and I haven't put the clear coat over top but let me know what you think so far.

*P.S. F1sh1000, I was already buying all the supplies when you put pics of your version out. I was pretty choked but I couldnt turn back. Honest :)

Hey not bad at all, it definitly doesnt stand out amongst those other customs you got and thats a compliment in itself. Its very "Muggish" as well which i persoanally can dig! For your first one thats definitly one to keep,or sell if you want some money lol. NICE JOB though, keep up the good work

Oh and dont worry, i dont own copyrights to any muggs i make, so dont worry about me being sour, Its no problem here

i think its made well :)
the paint looks good. im always kinda picky about the paint. it bugs me if it looks too globby. but you did a great job.

Hehe the Altair mockup is on its way. Im also getting started on my next Custom as soon as I get Dooku. After, I think ill put some out for sale.

I was thinkin on Scorpion. This is the first pic though that has enough detail to justify drawing a mockup. I like my muggs flashy :)

Thanks everyone for your support and compliments! No criticism though yet. I guess thats a good thing. Im waiting on the UV paint to arrive so I can make the light-blue parts of him glow a nice icey blue.

Thanks again! I forgot to give props to Jeta and Permagrin (formerly Namara? I cant remember now. Sorry!). They gave me some pointers. I still think its nowhere close to their work but Im eager to try and get there!

I like it...but the only thing i can criticize is the eyes. I would make the more detailed. otherwise very nice.

Yeah, I realized I coulda gone with more slanted, Anakin Clone Wars eyes but I decided I wanted the light blue to really showup on his face so thus bigger eyes. I was hoping to do more detail over the eyes to maybe give a more frowning effect but after I painted over and did that one line, I was too worried that more would overkill and screw it up haha.
