Over that last few weeks I have noticed a lot of muggs that I have been watching, are ending at obscure hours of the morning. Such as 1am, 4am...even auctions that end around 11pm.

My point is that ending auctions at a time when people are apt to be awake and at a computer could result in more bids.

Try and make an auction end somewhere between 7-9pm. Just after dinner but before bedtime. Your less likely to get people watching your auction the later it is.

Just a helpful tip to try and get your auctions to get more bids.

your welcome.

I figure that most customizers are posting there muggs shortly after they finish them which is late in the evening.

for me, I usually wait until the last 30 seconds to make a bid and needless to say, I am not going to wait up until 3am to place a bid.

Generally the earlier a bid is placed the greater the chance you will be outbid. So I wait until the very end.

Evening is the best, say 8ish. If you're in Canada like me, it's best to end 8ish in the main time zone in the states. I've always had a fondness for Sunday evening, but I've heard tons of other sellers cite differnt nights. All depends on your target market.

For Muggs, I would avoid Thur, Fir and Sat night DEFINITELY.

The time zones are what throws everything off. It could be 9pm where you are but 12am near me. It's difficult to find a time that works for the entire world.

i always end my auction on a sunday. i feel that people probably spend more time on the weekends on the computer than during the week, and if your auction ends on a wednesday, someone watching it may forget about it because they are busy and working. yes, i know some people work weekends, etc., but in general i feel sunday is the best.
