Editing B/S/T Thread Titles

When editing the OP thread title in other subforums, the change will show up in the main title and the subforum thread list, but in the B/S/T subforum it doesn't seem to work. Why? I don't see any particular reason to block it there and I think it would be a good idea to allow edits to thread titles. That way, people could update the title with what they currently have/want and won't have to make another thread. Old, unchanged thread titles can also mislead people who are looking for something in particular.

It's also the best way to indicate to a mod the thread has run it's life course and could than be changed to like "deleted" or something. Too many threads where the item gets sold already but no indication of it being so.

I agree with this. I tried to edit one of my thread titles once, and the view of the title inside my thread had changed, but the view of the title outside of the thread (like when you see it in "new posts" for example) had stayed the same. Is there any way to change this?
