I recently received my series 1 of the watchmen movie figures, they look great but are more like statues which is fine by me the detail is amazing and they look great on display, my only problem is does anyone who has these figures know what that small little gray piece is for? the one that comes with the stand pegs? I've been trying to figure it out but i'm stumped! any news would be awesome thanks!

pic? I don't have these (yet) but if you provided a pic that could help us all determine what it is :)

I also saw these at my local Toys R Us. They looked great...but not good enough to justify the 16.99 price tag. They were cheaper at Blockbuster 14.99. Here is a link to what they look like...not great pictures, but the best I could do.

I have some, but I don't plan on opening them due to lack of space. So I would have never know the difference.

Yeah barely made room myself still awaiting comedian and Dr. Manhattan maybe the small gray pieces will make sense with all the figures haha

Maybe they just wanted to throw in some spare pieces of plastic? :)

I'm beginning to think that, but no real loss the figures still look great on display and that's all that matters :)

They look to me like they are suppose to "lock" the bases together from the bottom.

That is a good idea, maybe

Watchmen: Rorschach Unmasked Action Figure

Yeah i just got the one above i hear that there are only 5000 of these gonna be made so they are limited editions, plus we wont get to see who is behind that face until the movie comes out or something like that but this is the most wanted and most valuable out the whole line. So i got me one of these plus he is my favourite character out the whole lot.

There are 3 variants each limited to 5K each. The others are translucent Dr Manhattan and the Comedian flashback. So, Rorschach unmasked is not the most valuable. And, at 5K that is still a lot being made, just not as many as the reg Rorschach which is probably in the 15K to 20K numbers produced. I highly doubt ANY will be "valuable" since the retail price is between $14.99-19.99 anyway.

I picked up the Rorschach unmasked. Also have regular Rory, Comedian and Nite owl.

I got my Rorschach unmasked last week. If you look at the reg compared to the unmasked the reg seems out of portion. The head on the unmasked is too big for the body. Or, the head on the reg is too small.
