So it's not two "eyes" and four "eyes" it is two and four Highlights?
Been wonderin' the same myself, heh, as I never saw a Vader with four Eyes. I figured y'all had to be talking about the highlights.

The "Highlights" are the white circles, representing a reflection from a light source. Apparently the 4 "eyed" Vader is in a brighter room. ;)
Personally, I only have Vader v.2 (packed away, waiting to be revealed). I've seen Vader v.1 on the shelf at Wal-Mart and Target a couple of times, but I believe they were the 4 "eye" version. I don't think I've seen the 2 "eye" version, other than in photos here on the forums.

the 2 eyes has 1 white circle in each eye.
the 4 eyes has 2 white circles in each eye.
Actually, the 4 eyes has two large grey circles in the upper left corner of each eye, and two small circles in the bottom right of each eye from our pov
People who don't have one should not be commenting in this thread because you don't know what the hell you are talking about. A picture is worth a thousand words.

As you can see, it has nothing to do with the eyes but the other reason why this variant is so desirable is because of the bright shiny silver paint used on the 2 eyed version.

Hmmm, pretty sure you don't need to own one to know the difference between what an "eye" is and what a "highlight" is. ;)
Thanks to the pictures, I can see the shiny paint difference, which I DIDN'T know. :D
Maybe next time I'll take a closer look at any Vaders that I see on the shelf.

I've heard somewhere that there's a "three" eye variant. That is, one eye has 2 glares and the other eye has 1 glare. I personally haven't seen it, but that would be absolutely terrible QC on behalf of Hasbro if it's out there.

Apparently, in some people's minds.
My kids still love me, though. ;):D
My Vader doesn't look like any of the pictures posted by Grak. Mine has one 1 big 1 little dot for each eye..is this the 4-eyed Vader? I'm confused...lol!

One glare or two glares, i think it looks confusing. I think Vaders face especially the eyes could have been designed to be cleaner and more visually friendly.

I own the four eyed Vader, but I never knew there was a different 2 eyed version. I saw a Vader at a TRU a few days ago and didn't get him...now I'm gonna go back and see which version it is because I barely looked at it...knowing I already own one.

I decided to pull out my vaders to get a closer look. And I noticed that there were differences in the neck/chest plate design?
my 2-dots has the lines flat on the bottom, one of my 4-dots has the lines flat on the bottom, and my other 4-dots has the 2 blocks that are to the left/right of the middle block the bottom lines are angled, kinda like on how the neck/chest plate looks like on the box art vader? for those that have the 4-dots vaders do you have the angled lines or the flat across, just wondering? Well I supplied some pics...I dont know if its a error/manufacture defect...looks like it was intentionally designed that way because both the blocks that are surrounding the middle block has the bottom line in a clean/ruler angled line? Maybe someone can shed alil light to this question?
I was looking at all 3 and also noticed that the 2-dot ofcourse has the lightest highlights for costume, then the 4-dot with the flat lines had a lighter highlight then the 4-dot with the angled lines and that was the darkest of all 3..? lol or maybe I am just seeing things now at this point:p

Just checked mine, and I see the same thing. I have all three versions, and that last one is definitely angled and has the darkest highlights of the three. I would have never noticed the angles if you hadn't pointed it out. :)
I would say that it was a running change, to make the figure look more like it is depicted on the packaging. It happens from time to time. The angled chest is the most recent V1 Vader I've seen, so I'd say this one would be the most recent.
Kind of makes me wonder if any other changes were made that we just haven't picked up on yet. I realize they don't make the Muggs worth any more or less money, but it's still neat to me to see these differences.

So I'm guessing the "4 eye" version is the one that came in the revised wave recently?
