as of late there have been alot of people talking about how mighty muggs should have lights, and vehicles, and what not. ive expressed my personal opinion before. that being, mighty muggs are made from 100% recycled awesome, adding lights would take that part of it away. (they would have to print a new box for them too, because its advertised all over the box!)
but not only that, i completely appreciate the simplicity of mighty muggs. they are so cute, and have so much charm the way they are. i think alot of people like them simply because of how simple they are!
in my opinion, they dont need vehicles either. that would result in new boxed as well, seeing as they wouldnt fit. whether you like them in the box or not, i think alot of people like them to be uniform. people line them up on their shelves, and it looks so nice to have them boxed or un-boxed next to each other. im satisfied with the fact that they stick to the same body style. they would really have to modify the body in order to equip them with a vehicle.
i dont think anyone should really expect hasbro to come out with light-up muggs, or even vehicles. i just dont ever see it happening.... of course, i could be wrong.
there are so many people that makes customs. i think if they wanna add new features to them, thats cool. its always fun to see what people come up with! it always amazes me to see what people come up with :)
im just not so sure we will see it from hasbro!

yeah to be honest i think if you add like lights or vehicles and what not it would make em like any other toy hasbro makes. i like the simplicity of the muggs the way the are. and the simple alterations like wolverine's claws or captain america's sheild.

I thinkg lights on select charactors would be ok. I am not a fan of the vehicles. More accessories for some muggs would be cool. But if you look at the muggs currently, they are pretty simple. I think it would be wierd to display something as basic as the classic iron man next to a "new" mugg with tons of lightws accessories and a vehicle. just not the same. no consistancy.

Just like Ninja said, I appreciate the consistency. Uniformity is another thing, because they look so cool (especially when comparing SDCC Iron Man to the regular Iron Man)
Another thing is the lights ruin the simplicity. Basically I'm preaching to the choir, but I agree with keeping things simple.

i agree, it would be weird to put them by each other! i like them lined up, they just look good together. there is no awkwardness with different sized boxed or anything like that. i also like that they use the same mold for each mugg... well, i guess they have about 2 mold. there are those ones that have skirt-like bottoms, like the emperor. haha. i actually prefer the ones with legs over the skirt-like ones.

i completely agree with litepink. the simplicity is so awesome.

although it would be cool if they added maybe not ghost rider's bike but like a flaming tricycle haha something funny. like mighty muggs are simple and funny and bad ass the way they are.

to be honest kids here in our area do not like mighty muggs. why? because the concept is so simple it has no light up eyes and sound, no action features, no spring loaded etc, nothing.. only simplicity.. it would really ruin the franchise if they put it with light up eyes coz if that is possible then somewhere around the corner someone might ask for a spring loaded action or articulation or whatever.. then it would no longer be muggs if that happen.. but if that really happens then i would just quit this line and simply go back to collecting action figures..

simple, yet effective. thats the way the muggs are now, and thats the way they should stay

i just kinda wrote something about this in the star wars section, theres a thread about creatures...
vynil toys are supposed to be primarily simple, especially now a days, its like the new hip trend.

i used to live in philly and there was a cool sneaker store called UBIQ, theyd sell all kinda cool toys like this

anyways, if someone can come up with colutions to do this then awesome, just companys that start these lines almost shoot themselves in the foot with being able to make things more complicated. because once they do you lose the original simplicity everyone loved about them

well, it seems like alot of people agree that they should be kept simple. i would honestly be disappointed to see hasbro change mighty muggs. they are selling great the way they are. i dont think they would want to mess with their formula. but like i mentioned before, if people wanna jazz up their customs, thats cool too!

QFT!

that's all there is to MM! They're not popular among kids because they're not articulated and shoot stuff, yet us collectors and fans of SW, Marvel, IJ, etc find'em quite awesome because of their simplicity and coolness

Muggs rule the way they are, and that's how they should stay, that's that
