I bought a new faceplate, and oddly enough, when I lock it into place it disables the disc tray from opening, and it wont let me turn on the 360 on the actual unit. If I turn it on using the controller though, it workds and opens fine......anyone have any clue why this is happening, or could I be doing something wrong?

Hmm... I haven't run into anything like this before so I don't know why I'm typing this sentence right now. I should probably stop and not waste your time.
because then you'll come and look and think "oh flash has an answer" and then it won't be an answer and you'll laugh and go "man, he knew what I was thinking. weird"

Ok I fixed it, what it was, was.....There is a little plug almost coming out of the power on button and when you snap on the faceplate it should be like a cm away from the switch on the unit, so when you press the power button, it hit the switch and powers it on. My faceplate, OFFCOURSE was cut too long and when I snapped in the last corner it was already hitting the switch making the xbox shut off, or if it was off, power on. So I cut a little piece off of the plastic, and sanded it down and now it works perfectly. Thanks though pink for trying, and thanks flash for reading my mind ;) lol
