Yeah they will ban you or not let you register over there if you are a member over here. My registration with the same user name resulted in not getting approved. Its stupid, that forum doesn't even get that many posts each day and there are less than 500 members. They should just let everyone join.

yea, i dont get why they are so high and mighty on themselves. it just makes them seem really rude. i mean, mighty muggs are so cute, why not let everyone enjoy them, and give them the ability to talk about them to other people? i think they are just trying to make their forum seem all exclusive and cool. it seems like you have to apply to become a member over there! weird! ive been to that site before, and just the color scheme of their forums makes me dizzy. it hurts my eyes. i bet they come over here and spy on us... hahaha, scary!
i dont know who i mean by "they"... just they, i guess! haha

Cause they are jealous.

I have said this before to other people

The same thing happened with the car forums I'm at.

The first Car forum was called CV6 (not gonna type it out) and the admin over there was a douche. SO one of the CV6 guys said "F this" And then made his own board called FTV6 and then the admin at CV6 was banning people the same way they are doing it now over at the lounge. And now FTV6 is booming with sponsors and great members and even had to add additional boards cause of the influx of members.. It's all jealousy really. Let them spy all they want and let them sign up. Over time they will realize which board is the better board. Espically with new features I start to foresee. We might have less members, BUT we have almost ALL the customizers.

Huh. I guess we'll have to see if I get banned from there. I registered there first but I also found this place and registered here. I think it's cool that there's 2 boards, it's a great way to get info fast. That would suck if I get banned there :(

I like it over there. Everyone's pretty nice, though I'm surprised to hear that they would stop someone from joining for belonging to another group. Let's not forget, it's all about the Muggs!

Mighty Muggs Lounge is a waist of time, you post something new and you get 400 replys of "thats cool" and "nice job"............they can keep it

I think most forums have a handful of users that post a whole lot of "one liners" like that. For some reason some people think that having a lot of posts is important and that's fine. Personally I think content is more important. It would be nice if there was a way to track posts that are "value-added" and use those as a member's magic number. It can get a little annoying at times when you're reading a 10 page thread and it's only 10 pages because there are 5 pages of "Neat" or "Cool".

^Exactly. To me id rather have 5 "good" responses and when i say good i mean like someone who goes in detail about what they like or what they dont like. If it were up to me, people who worry about post's would be out the door. Whats the point of posting like a robot just for the sake of posting? But "that" website is full of people like that and ultimitly its whats wrong with it. On this website, atleast you get for the most part, great responses. People actually let you know what they like, what they dont like, and there not so "sensative" over everything either. The lounge houses the biggest bunch of cry baby/ sensative / verbally impaired people there is. I cant say it any better but that its simply a waist of time, or a waist of my time.........but the general concensus i get from this topic is that im not the only one who thinks this. LONG LIVE THE MIGHTY MUGGS FORUM!!!

So I think its awesome that A lot of people like Muggs (except that they are hard as hell to find in stores not)....But if people are going to treat it like some exclusive activity and only be part of their own elitist group then I agree with the above...they can keep it.

I love you guys on theis board and I love all of the helpful tips and constructive criticizm that are flying around here and I first got on board to help myself with customizing. Its the people that made me stay. I love this board.

I don't really get that impression when I'm over there. I think that there are always users that have the potential to make people's experiences in forums negative and that's a shame because it can turn people off of whatever said forum is about all together, not just the forum itself. I think it's especially important to keep things cordial and positive in this setting as some readers and posters may be children. Some folks are just too short sighted to see they may be doing more damage than good to the things they enjoy.

That's my 2 cents anyway.

The saddest part of that is that most of the Moderators AND Admin are adults.
