thats neat. They should start doing that with the Marvel Muggs and have a skrull hea on the back

I'm not a fan at all truthfully. Just make a Vader with a helmet that comes on and off and that's the end of it really.

It's...ok. Kinda mixed feelings. It isn't my favorite Idea, but because It's not such a drastic change, it isn't that terrible.

I love this idea. I will probably display him unmasked but be tempted to get two. I must try to resist.

Such a unique concept that it has my head spinning.
I'm sorry...it is in my nature to be a goofball.
Will go back to the quest for more Indy Muggs now.

I google image searched something and it popped up. I tried to find it again and I couldn't find it:confused: I must be using different keywords than before or something

Very sweet, indeed! The reason this works is because the helmet hides the other face. I doubt they could get away with this, otherwise.

For Some Reason, I Dont Like This Vader. The Head Spinning Thing Is Just Not That Great In My Opinion. I Would have Just Preffered A Helmetless Vader. But Thats Just Me.

i think this is a good idea, it gives people more options (if you open him). its a feature that is hard to disagree with. if you dont like the feature, you can easily keep his head the way it was packaged (human side) and plop the helmet on his head. and you will never know! and if you keep his helmet off... well you might be able to see the other side...... and hate it..... geez, i dont know... i guess its something alot of people might not like. just trying to get everyone to think positive!

this idea, the turning heard maybe a good idea. they can also use this with thor, with an angry face on the other side because you can hide the other one. If the muggs dont have a helmet the idea can still works if you keep your muggs in box.. one boxed muggs angry and the other one's not. You can change them whenever your in the mood.

so you really can not turn the head of the mighty mugg? i never opened a mugg

you can but the turning head idea is that you have two faces for one mugg.

i have opened and unopened muggs and i didn't know you even could turn there heads 360 degrees. i never pose their heads or anything, but with this one i'll be turnin and twistin like mad.

here are four attached pictures of vader 2.0:
-unmasked
-masked
-unamasked w/ helmet
-masked w/ helmet
my 2.0 helmet is in the box but i had a vader 1.0 helmet right there so i just used that. i think they are similar, maybe a little bigger on his head. you get the point tho. :p

My cousin just bought this and its a trip.
Is there a Vader Unmasked 1.0?
If so, could you post it up with the 2.0 please?
Also... there's a Han Solo 2.0 Hoth (Winter Jacket) but i dont know the difference.

Don't forget that his right hand is removable as well!

good question. i feel as if these two muggs are different enough to warrant two purchases, especially if you bought the first vader already, as the unmasked vader is so cool and you can display in several different ways (i posted some pics on the last page of this thread). some may consider the second darth vader an enhanced version of the first, but i still love the first for its simplicity and the fact that it was my first mugg.
on the subject of a vader unmasked 1.0, there is not one. "vader 2.0" and "vader unmasked" are interchangeable terms, where as vader 1.0 would just be referring to the original darth vader. same goes with the hoth han solo. if someone were to say han solo 2.0, they mean the hoth one.

I think I actually like this one over version 1. His hand with lightsaber also comes off. Found this one at a Target yesterday just sitting there. =)

I personally like Vader 2.0 better but I want both so I can have one with the mask and one without.

I really like the first Vader, but the second one is equally as exciting...the first version vader is one of two muggs i have unboxed, but his helment comes down too far on his head, covering most of his eyes :( does anyone know how to remedy this problem?

Really? That sucks. I liked the first version better, but if the helmet on the first one goes down too far, I might hold off. Can anyone post a picture of the first and second side-by-side with the helmets on? I wanna see if there's a big difference.

Fold up some masking tape and tape THAT either underneath the helmet or on top of Vader's head. You'll be able to judge how much you need.
I am a completist with the SW line so I was going to buy him anyway but I cannot believe how pleasantly surprised I was when I opened him. The shiny gloves, detailed chest, perfect face, removable hand, etc. really make this one of the best Muggs to date. Bravo Hasbro. This makes 1.0 look amateurish.
HAHAHA I just got up from bed to look at him and I happened to knock the helmet off to see that the masked version is on the other side! I feel like an IDIOT lol!
The same thing happened to me with my Bespin Luke. I had him for about a month until I noticed the removable hand.

Hah, the removable hand is the only reason I'd consider getting Bespin Luke.
