Hi guys
i know most customizers use air guns to spray paint their muggs, Is it possible to work with brush and acrylic paint and make it seem professional too?

I dont know how proffessional my customs look, Iv been told they look professional so i guess that enables me to answer the question but anyway, check out my customs, I use only hand paint.

Thanks.....Normally depending on the color, I takes about 2-3 coats but I use a White Primer on all my customs so that cuts down the layers of paint significantly. I forgot the names of all the stuff I use, I actually made a Tutorial that has alot of Info in it including names and stuff, that should be a big help. I dont use Matte Cover, sometimes if its a glossy character like Silver Surfer say, Id use a glossy finish to shine it up, Other than that I use paint from the Games Workshop, I highly recommend it.

arh ok but would the whole thing be smooth instead of having uneven paint over some partS? Also if you make a mistake for eg when drawing eyes using black paint and you accidently draw it over the body part how do you erase it?

Erase it with alot of tears and alot of paint. Dont gob it on though, light coats always win the race.

Good Day guys
Just wanna know what you guys use to draw those detailed features on the faces, i mean some lines are so straight and precise, do you all use special markers?

Ask BALD about markers, he's the marker master. He knows how to make them look good. Its all in the little brushes and steady hand.

I actually wanted to know about this too. There are some REALLY straight lines I see on those customs. how do you guys do it? Any kind of special tools, methods (ie taping etc), or tricks? I was thinking of tapes, but it might mess up the orignal coat of paint.

im starting on my first custom either tonight or tomarrow, i think im going hand paint all the way. there arent really any fine lines so i should be good. only thing im wondering about is the fact that it has alot of white in the eyes, and the main part of the character is blue. should i paint the whole thing blue or only the section that is blue. i know lights should go on first so im thinking i should paint around the lighter sections but im really unsure, any help?

Paint around the light areas, then paint the light areas, then go back with the darker color and smooth out the line between the 2!! ;)
