Same deal with Venom you hardly see him in stores and he hasn't been re-released

thats just it. Thor hasn't been in any revision cases

Maybe they just don't want to spend the money making another batch. Even though there are plenty of people on here that want one and can't find him, I don't think he is nearly as popular as some of the other characters who have had movies made for them, etc.

They might re-release him sooner or later though, Venom is getting a re-release right?

Don't know how this would stack up financially for you guys in the US but, here in the UK, we are still awaiting for the arrival of Thor. He's available for pre-order on a few sites, so I've got mine booked (i hope!).

After a quick currency conversion, looks like it would work out at approx. $15 + shipping. Don't know how that would compare to you buying him off eBay...

i don't think i've EVER seen a thor in person. i want him and i've been looking for him for months. i've been trying to avoid ebay, though. i just keep hoping he'll be re-released soon

I just came back from SF this weekend, in downtown at Urban Outfitters there are two Thors left (I picked one up) for $22. The boxes are pretty beat up though, and UO sucks butt, but its there if you want it.

he was also spotted at the santa cruz UO. $20 for a current mugg is irdiculous, sure, but for a sealed hard to find one? not too bad. provided you can find one not destroyed by a "inspected by #17" sticker on the top...

I've actually seen a number of Thors at Target here in Columbus. I don't know if these are returns or if they've just been getting more of him in general. Never seen anything wrong with the packaging.

Thor is one of the coolest looking muggs! I don't know much about his background from the comics but I can't wait to get him. I too am wondering if he will be rereleased in a future wave.

BBTS has wave 3 in stock, which includes THOR, blk spidey, ghost rider, and doc ock for $45. not too shabby, considering they sell thor for $30 and black spidey for $16.

like some people have said, if you are desperate for one, Urban Outfitters is the place to go. I went to check today and they had about 4-5 of them.Also tried looking for a venom but didn't see one. I'm going to try again another day. They were fully stocked with star wars, GI Joe, marvel, and transformers muggs. but at $20 a mugg, it's not surprising that they're not moving. I'm probably going to give in and get THOR before he becomes impossible to find :(.

I saw one Thor here in Dallas at one of our 2 UO's. Needless to say I picked it up. 20 bucks of course, but he was the only one I've seen since I started collecting in December, and the only mugg I've had to get anywhere else besides target, Wally World, and TRU.

I don't remember ever seeing him before I caught the bug either.

Came across this today, not sure why I hadn't looked on this thread to get some advice on this, but took advantage of this deal. Buy Thor for $30, get 3 Muggs (one being hard to find at the moment, Black Suit Spider-Man) for $5 each when you buy the whole wave. Sounds like a deal to me!

And about the 99 cent auctions - you actually END UP winning it for only 99 cents, you'll be the forum hero....... not gonna happen, especially after making them available to everyone else on here!

I think hes a bit rare due to his uniqueness of mighty muggs.
His helmet comes off with his hair.
One of the heaviest Muggs.
A hammer for a weapon.
and one of the first to have capes.

Thor is the only Mugg I ever bought in a jacked up dented and torn box, and for $20 at urban to boot!! It is also the ONLY time I ahve sen a wild Thor, and I live in SoCAl home to a jillion box stores. GL and buy him if you see him.

Man Thor was like the third one we got. Mighty Muggs are really abundant in north Texas. Every single Wal-mart by us is filled with muggs [Thor is always one I see]. Target too. Especially with their exclusives.

i just got lucky and found a couple on the shelf could only afford to grab one with all the others we were buying . but we almost bought from ebay. look for ones that end at wee hours of the morning , sometimes they have less bidders .

I found one on ebay for 25 shipped! I was so excited. That $20 one I saw at UO a year ago seems good now!
