Not sure if it's just me, but I cannot bring myself to release any of my Muggs from their boxes. I think they look so cool all lined up. If anyone messed with a box... I'd probably kick off. Uh-oh. That is bad :p

Mind you, it makes buying new ones tough. If the box is marked, I won't give it the time of day!!

I have to let them out of the box, but I display them in front of the box so you get both aspects at once.

Also, tape is sticky unless you put water on it. Then it just useless bits of plastic.

I have mine outta the box. Never intended to just let them collect dust (I don't exactly play with them, but I do mess around with them from time to time when I'm bored), so they were out of the box as soon as I got them. Plus, since some of them came in busted/worn boxes, keeping them in there wouldn't have looked as nice anyway.

Out for me, displays better imo, plus I am not concerned over resale value at all.

My thoughts exactly...release them!...and do away with the boxes...

I would keep it in its cage. but if the box is damage and i dont think i could find another one ill release it from its cage or i would just by two if they look awesome.

For now they are staying in the boxes...until I find a adequate/big enough area to display them, also have to wait to buy new shelves or display case too. Then I will set them free:D

I know, it hurt...

Mine are in their boxes, except for Venom, which I bought online and came without one. I do open them just to mess a little bit with them when I just get home from buying them, then... back to the box dudes!

All of mine are opened. I do save the boxes, though. They are just too cool to pitch in the trash. They will also be useful to store my Muggs in whenever I move next.

Outta the box. Makes it easier to play with them, er, I mean, pose them at the office.

I still have many in box now, but I plan on taking them all out eventually. The boxes are great for decoration though.

my soul just died a little

That's what happens when a 7 year old and year old are helping to open them. :D

I actually do wish that I would have kept the boxes as they are pretty cool and might be able to help in displaying them (I have seen some nice displays using the boxes)....but all the empty boxes are just one more thing that I do not need to try to find a home for.

I've got a handful out the boxes, but the majority of my collection is still boxed up. Part of me thinks this will lead to better resale value down the road when I finally wake up and realize that I can't afford this hobby on a student budget, but I basically stick to old trilogy Star Wars now that the Indy line is gone.

all boxed..EXCEPT for a couple of dups. which my nephew who is about 5 forced me to open because "why does uncle have so many toys if he won't play with any of them...that's stupid" he just does not understand what collecting means.....sigh....

In the box for sure, man you could take them out but man it feels funny, but likes it like how u like things are you a guy who like his/ her things in a mess or do you like things like all straight and s***. Man long as preforms to your surroundings needs then do what you want. My opinion in box as they look cool in the box and look amazing on display.

I don't really see the point in not opening them. They're eventually not going to be worth anything at all, and if you're not in it for money, why leave in the box?

well, I don't plan to sell them, NEVER! xD

But I just loooooooooooooooove the way they look inside the box. Besides, if I were to take them out, they're at risk of someone making them fall, or even losing them, not to mention that it would be a complete mess... I'm not the kind of guy that keeps everything in it's place

Looks like you answered your own question. If that's the way you like em then by all means. One of the cool things about these little dudes is the box is really well designed and is a work of art in itself to me.

All mine are still boxed and displayed in the boxes. I don't think I'll take them out until I figure out a decent way to display them out of the box. I'll still keep the boxes though and probably display them with the muggs like so many do. Plus, we plan on moving soon and having the boxes to put them back in so they wont get messed up somehow takes a lot of stress out of me. I'm anal like that.
