so after a few weeks of sweating bullets trying to complete my collection chasing after the TRU and target exclusives...ive learned a lesson about exclusives...everyone just needs to calm down and be patient...i just completed my target exclusive wave today (yes, i know, a little slow) and talked to the nice team member that was helping me and he stated that they had many cases of muggs waiting in the stockroom...the same is happening with punisher and jigs...

ill admit, hasbro deciding to start making some muggs retailer exclusive did get the best of me...also, not seeing them in my targets and seeing everyone online having them made me frustrated and fueled my fire...i lost composure for a few weeks chasing these and trying to track them down, but after the chase for these and pun/jigs im gonna calm down and try not to lose sleep over them; literally...

on a side note...its been obvious that targets have been holding out on new waves because almost everyone including me has had to ask team members to pull them out from the back...target wants to clear out their current inventory before releasing more...like any competent business practice...but my question is, what are they going to do with the rejects remaining? they cleared the indys at clearance, but that was a whole lineup...can they clearance certain waves? are they able to do that with SKU numbers and such? or is it possible they will take a chance and clearance all star wars for a very limited time just to get rid of older waves while letting go of a few new ones at the same time? just curious as to whats gonna happen to the ones that obviously no one wants...

/post over...no im not drunk or on drugs...ive been known to sporadically motormouth

Yes, no need to worry. Although the anxiety of wanting to find them when everyone else can do so is hell.
Plus, don't give in to Ebay, they sale for huge amounts of cash only to flat line a month or so later.

And, I don't doubt Target MIGHT clearance some older waves. They clearance anything. I have bought Tide there on clearance, yet they still carry it.

Just want to chime in here and say that the reason these Target Only Muggs are to be found in the back in the stock room is because all of the Star Wars Muggs are under the same SKU. This is why it is always best to just ask if one of the workers will go to the back and look for you,. IF they will not, ask for a LOD and explain to them the situation (these being Target Only) and if they will not go check for you because of collectors, it will at least make them aware that they have this wave of Target Only Muggs and I bet you will see that line out in a day or two (tops).

Bottom line, all Star Wars Muggs are listed under the same SKU and unless there is room for more to be put out on the floor (or inventory says to put more out on the floor) they will sit in the stock room until they need to be re-stocked.

It is not the UPC under the bottom of a figure, but the number that is on the price tag in the aisles that they identify the entire product by with their inventory system.

I get obsessed over one Mugg. It bothered me I couldn't find Punisher, and TRU had him on their site, and I feel the same way about like two of the Target SW Muggs. But I am sure one day I will wander in to Target and find them as well.

I was getting pissed going back and forth to toys r us and target on my days off every week. That trip is about an hour when all is said and done (2 targets, 2 toys r us). I did this for a month until last week. I walked into 1 toys r us and 2 targets and came away with punisher, jigsaw and all the target exclusive star wars. A month of frustration ended in one afternoon. Funny enough that was worse than not finding any. It sounds weird but I was actually mad that I spent a month searching when in hindsight i should have just waited. The hunt is the worst and best part of collecting.

Last time I was at TRU they had 5-6 Punishers and 2 Jigsaws. I got both Jigsaws. That was a couple of weeks ago though.
