What do your family members and friends think about your collection? Do they ever make comments, or judge you, or anything else? Just thought this would be an interesting question.

My nephews love it. Because i usually get them Muggs too. Nobody has ever said anything to my face, but I know they think I'm crazy for collecting them. I don't care though.

My wife gets irritated but my 2yo son wants to play with them, my 4yo daughter wants to learn all their names and my brother in laws want every single one I find either in stores or online, and they're exceptionally jealous when they come over and see any addition I didn't tell them about.

I've lost contact with most after the addiction consumed me. :(
Most just ask me if they're cups.

My mom thinks they're stupid but at the same time occasionally helps me pay for them and looks for 'em for me. My brother thinks they're cool but he's 12 and thinks anything on the toy asile is cool. My friends think they're ridiculous and that I'm ridiculous for collecting them. My girlfriend thinks it's cute o.o

My mom thinks its wierd to collect dolls....I try to explain that they are not dolls....only a select few of my friends can really appreciate the Muggs...others act interested but really know nothing.. :)

Well, my two sons love them, of course. :D
My wife tries not to crack, but when I mentioned there were Ewoks and that C3P0 was back, her eyes lit up, just a little. ;)
Mrs. Eggs knows I go through these phases sometimes, through different toys and things I can get for our sons, so she goes along with it.

Most of my friends think it's kinda weird at first, but then some of them think they're cool and start collecting them.
My excuse that I tell people is that "I'm a graphic designer/artist and I appreciate the illustration."
My roommate who also started collecting them uses the same excuse :)

This is a great subject! My family are fairly supportive, but when my dad found out that I spent 25$ on a Short Round, he freaked! He was like "YOU SPENT 25$ ON SHORT ROUND! WHAT IS WRONG WITH YOU!" It was so funny!

My dad just take the piss out of me for collecting them he think i am still like 10 years old and having a child-life crisis and he thinks i am wasting my own money which i have earned, everyone else in general think its a waste of time, girls kinda find it a turn on for me to collect "dolls as they call them". But i could look at it this way it gets me girls and at the same time keeps my dad away from my bedroom lol.

My mom doesn't mind me collecting them. One of my sisters though looked at the bag in my hand one night and saw what was in it and said "No. You didn't buy more. Wow. You are such a loser." I then retorted with "Hey! Wolverine was on sale!"
As for my friends, one is just as geeky as me so he loves them, the others just go along with it but I suspect that they think something is wrong with me...
My wife hated them at first, i think mostly becasue everytime we entered TRU, TAR, or WM, i ran to the toy isle. But she has come around now, buying them for me for christmas and my b-day and such. my 5yr old loves them, and has a few of his own so that he can play with them and not touch mine.

I think my Wife likes them. I think she likes my customizing them better. And I'm sure she likes them better than the hordes of baseball cards that have invaded her library (GO RAYS!!).

its funny how everyone seems to look at them when they come over. i watch my little 2 month old niece for a couple hours a week, and when my sister drops her off and when my brother in the law picker her up...they immediately look and ask if i got any new ones. my nephew (9 years) talk about them constantly too.

lol yea. My little cousin loves playing with my Transformers. I was going to get him a Mighty Mugg for Christmas but my mom thought he wouldn't like it, or something. He probably wouldn't understand the concept. Most people that see them at first go, "what is that?". You kind have to be a collector to really like them. The guys at the TFW2005 (a Transformers forum) always make comments of how odd they are.

Parents think its a waste of money, but my dad calls me whenever he finds some and lets me know what he found lol. Ironic.
my guy friends think they are awesome, since they were marvel/star wars junkies when they were kids as well. I had a few people say stupid stuff to me but I see it like this. When the world turns it back on you, no matter what, your inner child will always be there to back you up, and be there to give you that much needed smile.

my friends have all been pretty "supportive" as it were. i get phone calls or texts 2-3 days a week along the lines of "i'm at target and they have these..." or "i'm headed to toys r us, which ones do you need?". i love it. would not have gotten jigsaw if not for these amazing people.

Everyone thinks it's a phase I'm going through. But I think it's a phase I'm not going to grow out of anytime soon since Muggs seem to crossover every geeky thing I loved as a kid. Now if only Hasbro and DC could cut a deal.
Buzz Lightyear figures/memorabilia -> Darth Vader figures/memorabilia -> Star Wars Potato Heads -> Mighty Muggs

My girlfriend is supportive at times and also thinks it is a waste of money, but she encourages me on my shoe addiction. Which is way more then toys.

Well... let's see...
My dad wants to buy a stand or something so I can show them properly in my room, my mother doesn't talk much about them, but when I get a new mugg (not very often) she always checks it out, and generally says something like "Well, if you like them..." after all it's money I've earned at my job n_n
My friends at college think they're cool, and one of them actually goes on toy-hunting with me (while I hunt for Muggs he hunts for Hot Wheels) and if we see something each other is looking for we just call or text it.
You could say everyone I know likes them :D

My bro actually looks for them for me. He collects transformers and G.I. Joes so he is not as judgemental as others.

Hm...
Mom thinks it's a waste.
My brother tries to play with them, scratching my first Mugg horribly.
My friend asked me what the hell I was talking about when I told him.
My other friend shot one with a revolver. Eh, It was Indy. No one cares bout him that much.:D
