I was thinking about doing a pair of Royal Imperial Guards from Star Wars, and wondered if I actually made them, and if they turned out well, do you think their is any1 out there that who would buy them, as I don't want to make a [U]Regect Mugg[/U ]if you get what I mean. I havel put mock-ups on , and hopefully the Muggs will turn out well. Thanks in advance for your views on this topic.

Here is my mock-up. Sorry i don't have any fancy photo editing picture software stuff, just a sheet of paper and some pencils. So how does it look atm? And how can I improve it overall?

They would be more accurate if you used cairo swordsmen, the imperial guards wore skirt things in the movies

I personally don't like the way the skirt-muggs look. Thanks for the idea for, i will look into it.

It is just a rumor, but supposively the imperial guard is already slated to be made. So peope would probably wait until it comes out to purchase one.

that would be a pretty good mugg

I've heard rumors too, but that wouldn't be until at least wave 10. So I have made a V2 because I didn't like the other one. I will probs start customizing by the end of the week when Mutt Williams arrives XD. I also have a staff planned, but im not sure about that bit yet. I have also 'skirted the arms'. This way, even if hasbro release an official mugg, it proberly wont look like mine. I think this gives it more of a robe effect. What do you think?

If it looked good enough, i'm sure someone would buy. The problem with the imperial guards is making the face long enough to properly account for their masks/visor/helmet/whateveryouwannacallit. The space between the neck and the shoulder just makes guards hard to do. And to me, it doesn't look right (even the snow trooper that just came out).

Should be long like this, but dunno how someone would do it with the current accessories. You'd prolly have to add on extra material to build the rest of the hood.

But the thing is, trying to keep it look realistic AND mugglike, i think the 'armskirts' are needed but im not sure how to do the helmet. Also articulation would be lost . I am making some pole/speary thingies, so I will get started asap on that guard.

Ya, it's tough. Definitely want to see how it comes out. My worry would be your helmet as it is would just make it look like the Red power ranger. hehe.

So perhaps i need to add a point onto the chin, and then add a bit more detail to the face. Problem is, if this custom fails then I probs wont be able to make any more for a while. If you have any ideas, they would be much appreciated. Thanks

ok, i am gonna do my custom as planned, but im going to do the face like the purple trooper mugg, made by the guy who did the $500 spiderwomen. but a little more pointy.
