I took out the Indiana Jones Muggs that I'm going to use for customization a couple of nights ago, to show my sons, so I figured I'd take a pic of what we have so far. I have TWICE as many Muggs as these sitting in boxes right now, that my sons, Little Eggs MksI & II™ (and Mrs. Eggs), have no idea about (well, Mrs. Eggs knows about a handful of them). ;)
Dr. Doom is dad's (mine), Captain Rex is Little Eggs MkI's™, Iron Man is Little Eggs MkII's™, the Joneses' are for customs and Snake Eyes and Venom are "ours" ... ok, well, Venom hasn't been opened just yet. :p

A great and noble start! More than the collection, I love the Nicknames you have dubbed your family. Lol... Mk I and Mk II...

AHHHHH!
Why does everyone keep them in the box?! Poor Muggs they look so sad and helpless. Let them run free!

I agree :D

Heh, we have too many toys runnin' free in our house as it is! But, really, they've been outta their boxes (except Venom, and he is the latest) and Iron Man (especially), Captain Rex and Snake-Eyes have been played with (er, not by me, of course). Heh, the reason that Iron Man and Captain Rex are on the bottom row is to keep their top flaps down. Little Eggs Mks I & II™ were none too gentle on Christmas Day, when they were opening them (since then, dad opens the boxes ... from the bottom).

It's just easier to "store" them in their boxes at the end of the night. Do you want them falling off the shelf when they fall asleep? :p

Added the latest (known ;) ) Muggs - a couple more Indiana Jones, Mola Ram, the $2.74 Cairo Swordsmen and another Snake-Eyes (birthday gift for one of Little Eggs MkI's™ friends) ...

Nice set up! Gotta love the 2.74 Swordsman. I keep catching my son casing out my collection. I've got to say though, it's a blast having him in on it. About 2 weeks ago, we went on a Mugg hunt. We hit 8 stores, scored some Muggs, ate some McDonalds, and had a day I'll never trade. Getting your son involved is great. Looks like he has a good start!

I agree. If I had no kids, I wouldn't even look twice at these things, even as young-at-heart as I am. My two-year-old (Little Eggs MkII™) calls them "Monos." He calls all of his action figures that, 'cause it started with those cute little SW Galactic Heroes line. Mrs. Eggs (who is from Colombia) says they call little "dolls" like that Monos, so that's the name for 'em! ;)

"Mono" is a Spanish word for "Monkey" btw. In Colombia, they call monkey's "Micos" so I suppose that's why the call action figures/dolls "Monos."

And now you know, and knowing is half the battle. ;)

UPDATED:
First, the Collection.
Dad's (my) Muggs are in the top row (in their box, 'cept for C-3PO), and the rest are my sons' Muggs, along with my two Experimental Muggs and some Blank Whites. It's still a fairly small collection but there are more in the GEaD "Warehouse," just waiting to be revealed. ;)

The aforementioned GEaD Warehouse. Each of those boxes ('cept for the heater one ... how'd that get there?) is full of (future) Muggs for my boys ... oh, and a couple for Dad, also. :D

Heh, heh. You should hear what he said before I turned (one of) him into Scarlett. Can't print that here. :p;)

ROFL nice.

Nice little collection you've got going there. The only Mugg I've let Oliver run rampant with is the Spider-Man {PIDER-MAN GUY!!!!} he got for Easter. Everything else he can touch, but he has to wash his hands first.
