Huge mugg sighting

Hi everyone, long time viewer, first time poster. I visited a mall near San Francisco today and there was some sort of comic book sale going on inside the mall itself. I spotted a guy selling Mighty Muggs, he had everything from Leia to Gree, Joes to Silver Iron Man. I overheard some people asking the prices and heard that Leia was $45!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :mad::eek:

hmm, $45 for a Mugg...I wonder how many he sold. I doubt any collector would knowlingly buy one for that amount.

I don't know, I checked amazon and they have Leia i think cheapest for about $60 or so. She is expensive lol

Supply and demand. It happens all the time with collectible toys. I have seen only one or two Leias since I bought mine. If a completist jumps into this line at this stage, they are more likely to pay an upcharge to get the missing pieces.

Look at Venom. When that original wave hit, I saw him EVERYWHERE, and usually in quantities or two or more. Once he disappeared, the ebay prices went insanely high. Now he's hitting stores again and the internet price is going down a bit. If Leia gets a reissue, I'm sure her price will drop too. Like you said, she's definitely not one of the best Muggs.

I've seen Leia in stores but I never picked her up. I just never liked the way female Muggs looked. I probably should have got her just to resell and use the money on other muggs, haha. I could have got 3 free Muggs out of it at that price.

ive seen 2, and ive bought both, then thats it, never seen anymore. shes about as rare as c3po, but now 3po is going to be re-released it looks like.

Talking of C3PO, they are extremly rare, but dont look particulally good. I mean how can you have C3PO without R2D2 ???!!!!!
