We have received news from Hasbro regarding the next wave of Star Wars Mighty Muggs. We have not received any pictures yet but the list is confirmed. This wave will include 8 figures and the price may increased to RM49.90 each:

* Biggs Darklighter
* Snowtrooper
* Bossk
* Teebo
* Shock Trooper
* C-3PO
* Captain Rex
* Commander Cody

The last 3 figures are probably from the previous waves and these should be perfect for those who miss them last time. We will update the pictures soon when we receive it. This wave should be arriving very soon to Toywiz. Pre-order your set now!

I just looked up what rm stands for and it's malaysian ringgit. So 49.90 rm = $13.96 USD. If all that is true then muggs are going to become very expensive very fast. It's really too bad because they have been out for barely a year and we've already seen a 10% price increase. I can't believe their cost has gone up enough to raise the price another 30% and their bad quality control might be the end of muggs. I really hope this info does not pan out.

Ugh. It was only a matter of time before they made an Ewok, I suppose. After all, the Mighty Mugg "mold" was probably based on Ewoks. I'll, I'll try my best not to horde the Teebos in my area, giving everyone else a chance. :rolleyes::p

Biggs? Money says that if he didn't have the mustache he wouldn't have been done. After all, who's the only character in all three movies of the original trilogy BESIDES Luke, Han, Leia, Darth, Chewie and the droids? Wedge Antilles. I guess Wedge ain't recognizable enough. He needed a 'stache. :D

Bossk is one I'll proabably pick up. He should look cool. The Shock Trooper, also (though he doesn't have a gun?). Snowtrooper, probably. My oldest son will probably want a Commander Cody, glad they are re-releasing him.

I bought my first Muggs in December of '07 for 9.99 each. With a price tag of $13.96, throw in the tax, you're looking at a $15 Mugg. Then have a wave with 8 instead of 3 or 4. I hope they don't do like The Simpsons figure line did. The price went up $2.50 apiece, then it was a wave every 60-90 days, and each wave 8-10 figures in it. You couldn't keep up.

Now, here's the million dollar question: What will a $15 regular issue price do to the exclusives price?

Muggs ship in cases of 4 I don't see Hasbro making 8 box cases on these. It seems like Teebo replaced ObiWan in the asst.

The Target exclusive will ship in its own case of 4, as every target exclusive has been its own asst. They might be priced higher than the others as thats what Target has done with all there Star Wars figure exclusives.

they're probably raising the price based on what people are reselling some of these guys for. we've been getting them on ebay if we can't get them in stores or for trade here on the board and some of the prices are ridiculous. like $29 for 1 mugg. craziness. and i wonder if they're raising the prices on marvel and the others too. cos they don't seem to go up in price the way the star wars do.

No doubt they need to increase their prices. The economy sucks and these are not necessities in life. Meaning, sales are probably a bit down and cost of production, materials, shipping etc is way up! We could pay the extra 4 bucks or they could scale back the line and release far less per year or just flat out cancel it. I think the extra 4 bucks is worth it.

Gammorian Guard? Wampa?! Oh come on...surely in all the mythos of Starwars-dom they could come up with more interesting characters than this...

I'd love to see a Jawa, or the 3 Sith lords from KOTOR II, or even characters from the Legacy series.

Another thing I noticed is that the list has some spelling errors in it. Ex. Gammorian vs. Gamorrean.

Star Wars fans are usually pretty particular about this kind of stuff so it is possible that he is just a casual fan. I only bring this up because perhaps he was mistaken when he said they Mugg he was holding was Wicket (when in fact it was Teebo.) To him, all the Ewoks might be the same.

I could see the Shock Trooper being a Target exclusive. Target has pretty consistantly supported all lines of Muggs and that red looks a lot like Target red to me. I can't wait to get him and Bossk, those are some sweet Mighty Muggs.

I really dig the Bossk and Shock Trooper, but I honestly don't like any of the other new ones very much. The Snowies helmet just doesn't do it for me at all, and I've never been a fan of Ewoks. Biggs is meh as a character, too. Those three will be easy passes, sadly. I had been really stoked about the Snowie, too. Oh well, at least I'll get another bounty hunter.

The snowtrooper to me looks too damn plain, but then again they were pretty plain looking to begin with in "The Empire Strikes Back". I really like the look of the other three muggs, especially Bossk. Makes me hope for more bounty hunters like Dengar, Durge, and IG-88.

Hey, thanks for the pics! I almost hate to say it, but the Teebo design is very nice! I'll still not get him, of course. ;) Bossk is nice, the Shock Trooper is also cool and I have to say that they captured Biggs almost perfectly. The Snowtrooper isn't the greatest design, but it's not based on the greatest SW design in the first place.

So now that many of these have been confirmed with pictures (Teebo was obviously mistaken for Wicket), I think it is safe to say that we can look forward to Ben, Qui-gon, Gam Guard, and a Wampa in wave 9. The person who I got this information from was SPOT ON and I see no reason not to believe the other parts of the list now.

So what about the Old Obi, Qoi Gonn, Wicket, and Wampa? are they Wave 10??? So far it has been stuff that he has held in his hands a couple months in advance. i want to know about the stuff wayyy down the pipeline. DS2 Luke? TPM Obi-wan? And I hope they don't do a Hoth Luke. I hate it when they do every single version of a character when others could be done instead and add some variety. Look at Sideshow's 12" figures. They put out 4 versions of Luke before Vader was even announced.

Seeing how Wave 8 was already confirmed and we have pics to back it up, I'd say there is a zero % chance that will be Wave 8.

Yeah I realized this before you I posted about IG-88, they'll have to create a whole new design, which probably won't happen. The only way I can see IG-88 being produced if it is an exclusive.

Yeah. It would be neat, though. Maybe they could make IG-88 and Battle Droid with some new mold. Unlikely, but still. 4-Lom, Dengar, Zuckuss, ect are all still possibilities for the bounty hunters, though.

We have received news from Hasbro regarding the next wave of Star Wars Mighty Muggs. We have not received any pictures yet but the list is confirmed. This wave will include 8 figures and the price may increased to RM49.90 each:
