Hole Under Foot??

On all the muggs there is a little square hole under one of the feet. Does anyone know what it is for?

I think it would be good if they released some display background sets with little pegs that stick up to place the Muggs on. They could even have voice chips in future Muggs??

You could have Darth fighting Luke on the deathstar for example.

Yeah I have no idea. Some say its for a mount or stand...possibly when in production for painting.

I'd say it probably is part of production, but they probably have it in mind for some sort of possible future accessory too.

well its used to keep the silver surfer on his board and also the green goblin on his goblin flyer. i don't know if there are any others. might be used to attachto stands?

from what i heard the main purpose for this (as well as for other figures with holes in the foot), is so they can stick them on a pole so they can paint it during production.
