Punisher in Canada

not sure if anyone here is from Canada... i'm new on this site, do we know if its only for the USA or North America or can it also be found in TrU's located around the world ?

i live in Toronto, and i have been to most of the TrU's here, and i keep getting the same useless answers...

1 - never seen it
2 - never heard of it
3 - its been dis-continued :confused:
4 - sorry, we don't sell marvel cups (from one employee) :eek:

haha I'm from Toronto Canada too.. I called a Toys R Us a couple days ago and told them I was looking for a specific Mighty Muggs. They put me on hold for a couple of minutes and then told me they don't have anything called Mighty Muggs.. But I've seen so many Star War Mighty Muggs there the last time I went... the people there know nothing about toys...

i have bought from TrU in toronto a few times... they have a lot of starwars and indy ones... but not much Marvel... but i'm searching hard for the Punisher

do they have any marvel? whenever i go they usually only have mace windu and a couple various indy's. regardless if find an extra punisher in hamilton ill let you know

i say if any of you guys see Punisher just buy them and sell them for a resonable price to fellow members here, and we will reimburse them... cause by the time we post up where we saw them and read the post, they will probably be sold out !!!

i already have a contact at TrU that is keeping a close eye on the muggs shipment for me... if i get any Punishers or Jigsaw's i'll grab all that i can and let you guys know

Yeah, things aren't much better out west. I haven't seen any Marvel Muggs in any big retail store. I can only find them randomly dispersed throughout various comic shops. The Star Wars ones are everywhere though. It's frustrating.

I might be heading to Edmonton this weekend, if so I'll check out the Toys R Us stores there and see what they have for Mighty Muggs. So far I've only seen Star Wars and Indiana Jones muggs on their shelves.

The only marvel mugg I have ever seen in a retail outlet here was Wolverine at tru and I picked up the only one on the shelf. I spoke to one of the guys at tru and he said that with these kinds of "specialty products" the US gets all of their orders and stock filled first and then whatever is left gets shipped to Canada.

Im from the Canadian west coast, Vancouver actually, and I can tell you its not much better here. (Unless you want 15-20 Mace Windu's/Cairo Swordsman)

I took a tour today to see if there was anything new around to pick up. I hit up a couple of local comic shops, two walmats, a tru and a Zellers. This was my total count of what was available:

Mace Windu - 23
Princess Leia - 2
Lando - 2
Jango Fett - 1
Cairo Swordsman - 12

I have done the same tour once a month for the last couple of months with the same results. It is getting kind of depressing, I'm all for the thrill of the hunt but when the only way to get anything is to have it shipped up north it gets kinda lame. Plus the comic shops tend to hike the prices up, supply and demand I guess.

The majority of my collection has been built from ordering online and it looks like that's the way its going to have to stay.

no luck with punisher here yet...as for marvel the tru here had a bunch of wolverines and ironmans but thats all ive seen in along time

Same thing on the West. I'm in Newfoundland and I haven't seen any new Muggs on the shelf at TRU since September.

perhaps one of these nice USofA folks can get you the UPC code & bring it to yer cloasest TRU...
then have them check if they will be shipped in.

hey guys, im located in hamilton and snagged two punishers online from the tru sale, getting them shipped to my uncles house in the states and then shipped to my house in hamilton, im doing the same for jigsaw when they arrive ill try n help you guys out
