I haven't been collecting for all that long, but I have not come across a Vader 1.0 yet in any stores. I have come across 4 (all separate occasions) of 2.0.

I would say Vader 1.0 because he is from an older Wave, and Vader 2.0 came out recently and should be easy to find, I have seen about 10+ every time I go to stores. But on one divine day my not-so-local TRU had 6 Vader 1.0 but thats only because of the recent wave revisions.

I'm going to agree with gooeychicken on this one. Speaking of the two Vaders... anyone want to trade Vader 2.0 for my Vader 1.0?

It really depends on where you live also. For example, Venom is thought to be very elusive and rare (even spidey's spider sense doesn't know) but over here I have seen him in stores quite often recently, again due to wave revisions. Eventually they will re-release all muggs and none will really be rare except for the exclusives that have a limit on how many there like Peter Parker.

but when it comes to their value, say if you sold them on ebay.... both vaders would net about the same cash monies

I've only seen wave 1 Vader once, a few months back and I've never seen Vader Unmasked but I see Wave 6 on the shelves of Toys R Us and Target quite regularly so they have to have been there at some point. It all depends on the area, as Gooey said.

yea... depends on what kind of rare they are talking about... rare as in, they care hard to find where they live. or rare, as in, no one can find them and they are going for alot on ebay. which in that case, there VALUE is about the same.

If it comes to value, I'd say SDCC Iron man is the rarest Mugg then. It goes for a pretty penny on eBay.

Ah. I've yet to see Mark 1 Iron Man but he can be bought in any stores that sell Muggs if you're lucky enough to find him. The SDCC Iron Man was a Comic Con exclusive and can only be purchased online.

^^SDCC Iron Man is a Hasbrotoyshop.com exclusive that was launched at the San Diego Comic Con of 2008 before it was sold on Hasbrotoyshop.com. I'm not sure what price he was on the Hasbrotoyshop.com website when he first appeared, I wasn't a collector then...but now you can mostly find him online at other websites for $30+ just recently another SDCC Iron Man was put up on hasbrotoyshop.com for $99.99....its a graded figure by the AFA with a rating of 9.0 I think, and it comes in an display case.

I'm going to check out one of our comic shops nearby this weekend and see if they have the good Iron Man. Once I saw him and then looked back at the regular one, I just went "ok, screw you dude. You suck" and never looked back at that thing. I wouldn't want to spend more than...I don't know...maybe $60 on it? Especially since I don't leave 'em in the box.
Vader 1.0 is tough to get but with the new revision wave shipping he'll be out again and disappear. This is why I hate Hasbro they decide to saturate the market with many of the rare and sought after figures from all their lines. I think that takes away from getting moreof the newer muggs on the shelf.
