I was wondering if people prefer to keep their muggs in boxes or take them out and display them. I personally like having them out of the box and putting them on this bookcase I have in my room. Putting on their accessories and posing them together is so cute and fun!

That's the good thing about Muggs, you can actually take them out to display without destroying the packaging unlike normal action figures.

It depends of the setup. Smaller amounts look better out of the box, but you can do cool stuff with a ton of boxed ones. Eventually I'd like to have both on display. For now I don't have one complete set, let alone two.

I like to take them out of the box. But my SDCC iron man is still in the box...debating whether to keep him MIB or get two, 1 in box and 1 out of box.

Thats my goal, if I ever land a SDCC Iron Man, well him and another Peter Parker/Spidey (so I can open the damaged box one I've got sitting in my house).

What about the Muggs that are glued on top. It ruins the packaging. Is there a way around this? Opening from the bottom? I don't know because I use to open them but now I just keep them boxed.

Yeah you can open them from the bottom. Just slice the 3 pieces of tap and they just slide right out. I made the mistake of opening my first two from the top. Then I realized the tape at the bottom. Its really easy.

Even if you open from the top, it still looks better than say, what a regular Bliser Card figure would look like after.

Got get em out of the box!!!

I cant understand why you would want to keep them in the box? I even threw mt first couple of boxes out (Bobba & Chewie).

I keep the boxes now at work under my desk as have no room at home!!

Why do you keep them in the boxes out of interest??

Every boxed or sealed figure secretly wants to be free.

As for why? Some people are condition / relase value nuts. I'm borderline.

Another good thing with the muggs.. you can also display those very cute boxes.. and if your tired of looking at them in loose, return it to the box as easy as that.

Usually I am an opener, but with the MMs, I've surprisingly have left almost all in their boxes, the exception being Lando only because I opened him when I got him, then I picked up a few, they sat around, then some more came home, then some more. Now, at this point, I don't think I would have the room to display them properly if I did open them, which is strange how that works.

PS - Hi all, sorry I've been gone for a bit. catching up on what I've missed. will be posting as I go.

Well, even though I only got 2 they're in their boxes, altough Boba's one is all messed up 'cuz I recklessly opened it from the top, Vader's one is alright, since I use a knife to "cut" the glue on top and it's as good as new, but from time to time I like to take them out and make them pose, when I'm done... back to their boxes

That's the cool thing bout muggs as some others said before

just a tip if you want to open, then its much easier to cut the tape at the bottom and you wont risk messing up the box. :)

I keep all of my muggs in their box unless I buy 2... then I open em... Too bad I didn't get a second Venom, I really want to take him out of the box. :P

I just couldn't decide whether to take them out or leave them in, so I opened mine but I only take them half way out and display them that way. What can I say, I'm bipolar. :)

Now they look like they are in midst of trying to escape from the box.
