Hey Guys - (heads up this is a long post)

I went hunting for muggs this weekend... Walmarts and Targets had the same old muggs you always run into (i.e. Hulk, Indy, Luke Skywalker) But I went to this TRU in Cerritos... which I never really go to and I found the new Star Wars wave 5...

I got all of them but Captain Rex... If only I went there in the morning I'm sure I would have snagged him. That TRU also had Thor, Ghost Rider, Black Suit Spiderman, Doc Ock, Darth Maul, Captain America, Spiderman, as well as the usuals. I only managed to get the SW wave 5 and some Thors and Ghost Riders.... here's why:

I went to the Star Wars display first and found the wave 5 muggs. There was a young couple that came up after I did and started grabbing for wave 5 as well. I looked in their cart and they had like 10 muggs in their cart (all the ones I listed above). So then went to the Marvel section to see what they left behind that I could grab. I walked around the store for a bit while they lingered in the SW area debating on which ones were going to purchase. So I waited (because I really wanted Doc Ock), but they weren't going anywhere. I decided to check out and later they did to, but after they walked out I went to the Marvel section in hopes to see that they dropped a couple muggs...

OMG they purposely dented and slightly tore every box on the shelf! I've never seen such d-baggery in my life. What jerks. They put back Darth Maul, their wave 5 Anakins, and a couple others... all destroyed. I know some people don't care about dented boxes, but really what kind of person does that. I wish I caught them in action.... grr.

wow, now thats some serious crap. Not to mention they could get into trouble for destruction of property.....I probably would have asked them if they were going to buy them all and seen if I could get the ones they didnt want. What D-Bags!

I fortunatly have not run across any mugg D-Bags. I wenting hunting today and came up empty handed.... :(

This story LITERALLY made me sick. For one, I'm dying to get those Clone Wars ones, and wish I could see some. But mainly, I CAN"T BELIEVE THOSE PEOPLE! If they can't afford to buy EVERY single Mighty Mugg- at least hide it, don't ruin them. I'm not condoning hiding them either...they should be left alone, but it's better than what they did.

literally...sick.

I Usualy Just Buy Mine Off The Internet, So Far They've Come In Good Condition. Cause All The Targets And Wal Marts Where I Live Have Torn Up Mighty Muggs.

I recently read about toy packaging being intentionally dented but thought it was just people being paranoid. Then I went to a Target and TRU in the same mall complex and found that all of the best Titanium Series Indiana Jones toys were ruined. At first I thought it was coincidental until I realized that only the most coveted had dented bubbles or bent/ripped peghooks. It finally dawned on me that it was not an accident. This is so wrong. I hope to catch someone in the act!

Wow. I can't imagine doing that if you're not going to buy them. If you that big a d-bag just hide them if you're worried you might want them later. Destroying this is just... wrong!
