Transformers Official wave 2 on BBTS!

Oh man, took the words right out of my mouth - i've already spent WAAAAY too much on muggs lately. But i already pre-ordered grimlock. I think he's gonna be super popular. Can't wait to check out starscream - they better give him wings and the cannons on the wings.

Yup, gotta be. Every comic/toy shop i go to nowadays - when i talk to the owners they're saying there's hella more interest in muggs lately. Better get them while they're still below $20 i guess. I dunno if i can justify spending more than $20 each though. :D

let me clear up some confusion about pricing of mighty muggs, and why some like grimlock are priced higher.

look at it from a business standpoint. you must order an entire box of 4 to get ONE grimlock and ONE starscream. since optimus prime and bumblebee are already available in wave 1, these (prime and bumblebee) will be harder to sell, they will be more common. they will sell for cheaper. they know people will want just grimlock and starscream, since most people will already have the other two. they will offer them at a higher price because they know optimus prime and bumblebee might not sell even at a $12.99 price point. the high price of grimlock and starscream balances out there risk of optimus and bumblebee NOT selling. BBTS is not trying to rip you off, they are a good business.

look at like darth revan and darth maul 2.0, they are in a wave with two repeats, so they sell more individually as well.

Ya, he wasn't saying they're ripping people off. He's just noticing the fact that prices are rising. If demand goes up, hell, i'd raise prices too. But it's gotta be to a certain point. I don't make enough money to be spending $30 on these things each. they're gonna price me out if that happens. $18 - i can handle. Much more than that - i dunno.

But that leaves me with toysrus. Which means i can have my choice of 1000 obi-wans, 1000 mace windus, 5000 human torches, and 0 others. LOL.

yea, i think urban outfitters is a complete rip off. your better off just ordering muggs online... even if it takes a little longer.
they used to be $20 there, and now they are $22.
thats why they always have such a huge selection, no one wants to pay that price. it frustrates me! i wish they would match prices there.... hahahahahahahaha, yea right though!

i order most of my muggs from bbts, but one question is why cant i find the wave 2 mighty muggs for transformers or gi joes. the only way i can find them is by clicking on the link at the beginning of this forum. i cant go to the bbts store and find them myself. how did you find them, does any1 else think this is weird?

maybe they took it down from the index and searches but the url or link is still there. i cant find it either...even if i search mighty muggs.

Considering that wave 1 hasn't even dropped yet, I'd say probably sometime in March-April.
