The Walking Dead Figures

Anyone collect these? If so which do you prefer, the comic or movie series?

I saw them and was curious but haven't bought any yet. The only McFarlane figures I collect right now are the Halo ones. And I have waaaaay too many of those right now. That might be why I haven't bought any of these yet. I don't wanna be on that show hoarders for action figures.

I think the movie ones are better but still don't know why they are all so damn little yet the same price as a regular figure. These toy companies are using less plastic and saving a lot of money on the production.

I heard the quality of McFarlane figures has gone down too in terms of qc. I saw a review on these walking dead figs and it wasn't good. I like collecting neca predator figures but those are another list of qc issues. I don't open any of those because they are just so fragile. The paint has gone downhill for neca too. I don't get it. McFarlane was my favorite toy company when I started collecting. They had set the bar for paint and sculpt and were like what 8-11 bucks a figure depending where you got it? I still on occasion will buy an older spawn figure on eBay and it's like night and day when compared to the newer figures. I recently got a medieval spawn 3 on the bay and the paint is gorgeous. But if you take a good look at these walking dead figures the paint is kinda blah and the sculpts don't actually look like the figure they're depicting. But whatever end rant

Edit: I should point out I just bought the remakes of grunt and arbiter from the Halo series and they both look great.

I agree also that the sculpting details and paint applications of McFarlane Toys have gone down tremendously, even the sports line has gone to shits. The best toy line out there right now based on sculpt and paint is the Marvel Universe line. Not only that but you also get the best articulation.

^ Poor Dale..... Do you guys watch Talking Dead after? They said to expect to see more Zombies but I have not really noticed "more" yet!!!!
