hey all, been a fan of the site for months now, check it almost daily to see whats new... just a small obsession/hobby i guess =)

anywho, i am finally tackling my first custom, or two actually. the question i have is does anyone have a suggestion on how to remove wolverines claws? i managed to get one of them off by just twisting and pulling and prying it off, but the second isnt cooperating as much. i think the glue that is holding it in place is stronger on the one side, if that makes sense... and i dont want to "force" it and risk breaking the muggs hand.

im making a freddy krueger, using wolverine for the claws but need to "alter" them just a little because freddy has 4 claws and wolvie only has 3... then, like everone else who has made a custom freddy, im using indy's hat. the second custom is probably going to be jason vorhees, from friday the 13th 2, so with the potato sack instead of hockey mask. or maybe chucky, havent decided yet.

any help will be greatly appreciated!

The hands are actually soft vinyl. Try boiling some water and putting the Mugg in there. It will soften the arms, as well as the head. This should make it easier to remove the claw.

I dunno. Why dont you just ADD an extra claw instead of removing the whole claw?
