Idea for First Custom

Here's my idea for my first custom...

So, I really don't know how to even get started with this design... does anyone have any good tips on how to create the Mockup and/or stencils in order to get started?

try drawing the design in by hand first and then once you get a feel for it, design it in Photoshop, Gimp, or Paint
