The Indiana Jones mighty muggs... hmm... well, heh, I was never a, um, big fan of them. :o I only got Indy just cause I wanted him and he was cute looking. lol. All the other ones were kinda random. I have to say though, I'll be glad seeing them off the shelfs. But don't get me wrong I'm a huge fan of Indiana Jones, but not the mighty muggs Indy series. It will be an excellent sacrifice to start seeing GI Joe and Transformers muggs next year. Not that the Indy muggs getting canceled is super major or anything. I mean, if your a big time geeky collector such as I you would remember times when Hasbro stopped shipping the Star Wars Revenge of the Sith figures in 05, or the Transformers live action movie figures back in 07. But they stopped shipping them because it was just time to stop with them, and make new SW & TF figs. *Looks back at what I just typed.* Hm, I guess I'm in the talky mood right now. :D

Yeah... I GEUSSE! But still they teased us with PICTURES! And they were designed and all but now :(. Same with the 3.75 in Indy Figures. I have tons and I'm almost done but seriously wave 3 & 4 were unevenly distributed and we were teased with pictures of wave 5. So now I call Hasbro (When refeering to Indy) Hasbluff . I do really like what we got I mean:

Indy - Light Hat
Cairo Swordsman ()
Mola Ram
Indy - Dark Hat
Mutt
Henry Jones Sr.
Monkey Man ()
Golden Idol (:eek::D)
Sallah and Short Round

I liked the Indiana Jones series. They just made some strange character choices what with Cairo Swordsman, Mola Ram and Monkey Man. They should have really covered all the main characters in the first two waves before making generic characters. Sallah, Short Round, Mutt, Henry Jones Sr., Irina, Arnold, could have all been fit into the first two waves, instead they gave us frickin' Monkey Man. He doesn't even have a name!

In the end, they came out with some good ones in the form of Indy, Mutt and Henry. And I hope they still come out with Sallah and Short Round too.

But Mola Ram was the MAIN villan in TOD. How is that a bad character choice?! I do HATE Monkey Man and Cairo Swordsman..... ut I'm gonna buy them anyways!!! :D

He was the main villain, yeah, but is he the most stand-out character of the movie? Would you expect him in the first wave instead of somebody like Short Round?

No, I wouldn't. I'd expect them to be in the same wave. If there was a CORE wave for each movie with the MAIN characters and then later waves would include less obviouse characters. Here's a list:

Wave 1: Indy, Toht, Belloq and Marion
Wave 2: Mola Ram, Short Round, Willie and Rope bridge Indy
Wave 3: Indy, Henry Sr., Sallah, Marcus (or Vogel)
Wave 4: Mutt, Irina Spalko, Old Indy and Dovchenko
The next waves would be "back up" characters.

I have mixed feelings about this line. The line had some nice civilian type characters but besides Indy lacked iconic characters. I think the line also suffered a bit in being one of the first Mugg lines in that Hasbro had yet to completely prefect the paint apps and detail level that the latter Muggs got.

The only must have for me was Mola Ram but when I saw him in the stores the sloppy paint made me not want to pay full price for him (feel the same way about Wolverine in the Marvel line). I've since picked up most of the Indy Muggs on clearence. I was looking foward to Young Indy and the guy with the torn shirt though.

Man, I don't have any of them. I plan on getting all of them though. There's not many. But anyway, I think the next line to go will be the GI Joes. I mean, Indy has a lot of characters, but their not all that interesting...Unlike Star Wars and Marvel. Personally, I hope to see new lines of Muggs soon.

I hated this line. there was nothing exciting about it... all the other line's are true classics in collecting.

bye bye indy muggs. i wish i could have gotten more and seen more waves come out but thats life. too many indy nay sayers. Indian Jones is just as classic as transformers,G.I Joe, Marvel, and Star Wars. Sometimes you just gotta take one for the team.

Not enough Indy Characters to make, I mean you look at star wars, and any normal person can name half of them, but Indy has a very small audience, and they are old films. Yes star wars is old, but the prequel trilogy got a new generation into it. I mean very few people know who Mola Ram is lol.

I would love to see a Heroes range of muggs, that would be awesome!

I've seen Raider's of the Lost Ark a dozen times (at least) and Temple of Doom a handful, and I didn't know those guys names were Toft and Mola Ram until, well until these Muggs came out.:o:D
