Date: April 1-3, 2011 (Friday, Saturday, Sunday)
Location: Moscone Center, San Francisco, CA
Estimated Attendance: 50,000+
Once again, Wondercon is right around the corner. Fugitive Toys will once again be in attendance and hyping up the Mighty Muggs and custom scene once again.
We have 4 booths and they have reconfigured the whole area to support more exhibitors. The event has grown every year and they expect records to be broken. These are the same people who throw Comic Con so you can expect it to be packed.
We are once again offering up the chance for some customizers to show off their work. Show the world what you can do!
Feel up to the challenge? Got Mad skillz and no where to show it off? Well, here's your chance to take advantage of this free opportunity to show the toy community what you got.
Why send in customs?
You get to show off your work.
You get exposure to people, companies, media, etc.
Best of all, you keep the Mugg Community going strong!
Based on past customs sent in, it can also generate a fair amount of business for yourself. So, please do include a business card/contact details along with the custom.
Will you sell my customs for me?
No, we will not sell them. There may be legal issues with the character you made and we will not run the risk of getting in trouble. This is just to show off your work and what people can do in the customizing world.
Will I get my custom back or do you get to keep it?
You have the choice of doing what you want? You can donate it to Fugitive Toys. You can have it given away as a prize at Wonder Con. Or you can have us return it. All postage is your responsibility.
How many customs can I send to you to display?
Because of the large interest and small booth area, we can only take 4 at max. If you want to submit more, please let me know and we can try to arrange something.
What are the steps to sending in the customs?
First of all, contact me directly. Let me know what characters you want to send in so that we do not have duplicates. Once confirmed, I will give you the address to send the customs to. You are responsible for the postage to us. Please pack carefully so that the Mugg/custom does not get damaged.
When will my Muggs get displayed?
We will rotate the customs everyday so that everyone gets exposure.
When is the cut off date to contact you?
Please let me know as soon as possible. Space is limited so once it hits a certain number, we will not be able to accept any more customs. Our cases can only hold so many. So, please reserve your spot as soon as possible.
When is the last day I can send you the custom?
All customs MUST be received one week prior to the start of Wondercon. Thanks.
Can I send in customs that are not Mighty Muggs?
Yes, as long as its a cutomized toy which doesn't take up a ton of space, we can accept. Please PM me if you have any questions.
### DISCLAIMER ###
Fugitive Toys will not be responsible for damaged items. We will not be held liable if the Mugg gets damaged during transit. We will not be responsible should the item get stolen during the show. We will take every step to ensure its safety but there are unforseen things that we can not account for. So, please, do not send your most expensive, top of the line, holy grail, Mugg/custom that you value more than your life and could not live on if its lost/damaged.
