for example shadow storm has a red background

I think the red background might be for characters that are mostly white, too. Leia had the all red background as well, I think. But by that logic the Stormtrooper should have, too. Kind of random, but it has been with white figures.

you are right, its a color schematic thing. maybe the tried red with stromtroopers and it didnt turn out.

i noticed that characters with mostly white do have colored backgrounds, it contrasts to the lighter colors compared to dark figures that usually have white backgrounds. two years of art school and thats all i learned:)

I started out kind of lukewarm on these things, but have really been jonesing them lately. And now they are pushed back? Argh!!!!! That really sucks. Hopefully they'll tell us more about Wave 2 before these come out. Would like to gauge whether i want to be a completist or not with this line, and knowing the quality of that second wave would help. If it looks like I'll be cherry-picking I'll know to not get Duke at least. Plus I think I'd rather wait for a Cobra Commander with the other mask.

Does UO actually move any of their Muggs? I just can't fathom paying that much for them when I've never had a problem finding anything in the stores during initial release. Those prices are just ridiculous.

Generally you can expect them nationwide 2-3 weeks after people start seeing them in Cali. That's generally how long it takes me to get them in stock.

i saw GI Joe muggs today at UO in mall of america. it was weird, no snake eyes or storm shadow! but they had about 6 each of cobra commander and duke. if they actually sold out of all the other SE and SS i would be surprised. i passed on both for obvious reasons, plus i have a case arriving on tuesday.

Not in Pittsburg or Concord. It's like both those Targets get the same waves. They have Wave 4 of Marvel, Wave 6 of Star Wars, Wave 2 of Marvel *minus Thing and Thor* and Wave 1 of Indy all the time. It's upsetting me. Hopefully that changes since it looks like they're restocking the whole toy section. Lots of empty space.

toys r us off 35 and hebron has/had a ton of g i joe muggs at least 2 of each and 3 cobra's
(note this was monday though)

and right by there in the target parking lot theres a place called boomerang comics they have joe muggs as well (though there 14.99 there)

if your local Target workers are nice enough, they might be able to get you some "from the back." when i say that, i mean, dont ask if any are "backstocked", but rather "in-hand". most targets are in transition right now and arent going to put out stuff until they do there new planogram, and they may hvae Joes. doesnt hurt to ask.

I hit the Toys R Us this weekend and found the first wave!
