Is it worth buying the Fertility Idol 2008 SDCC ? How rare has it become? Is $19 too much for it without shipping?

it depends how complete you want your collection. personally I love it since he is the only mugg with a metallic gold box. and he is an exclusive to SDCC 2008. I am a completist, so I had to get him. I think he is worth it. but I think you can do better on the price. probably could find it around $15 + shipping if you dont have to have it now.

Personally, I think all the SDCC Muggs are worth buying, but how much, it is up to you.

I would guess the pricing would be around 16-20. If you look really hard at toy shows, you may be able to pick one up for 15-17 but that is only if you are lucky. If it completes your Indy collection and you need it now, I think $19 is a half decent price.

That's how much they usually go for after SDCC on HTS.

So realistically buying for $19 (which $3 more than what he was being sold for ) isn't such a bad deal.

But then again, there are those people that wouldn't pay more than $15 for him.

Believe me I would love to get him for only $15 but I can't find any place including Ross that still has him. The idea of even paying shipping (another $7 -$8) hurts more. My fault for not getting into muggs earlier :-(

Well, Ross wouldn't have him in the first place.
He was an SDCC exclusive, so most places won't have him.
Your best bet would be Ebay.

Just be patient and keep an eye on Ebay. I passed one up the other day that sold for $4.75 before shipping.
